In the August newsletter, I read that UniKey has a multi vitamin w/ both calcium and magnesium. However, I recall from a year or two ago that ALG recommended taking them separately. Now I'm confused. Please clarify whether or not they should be taken together. Thank you.

Hi,
The latest research suggests that a 2:1 ratio of magnesium to calcium is preferred in the same formula. If you have problems falling asleep, than extra calcium might be helpful before bed; if you wake up frequently throughout the night, than consider extra magesium by itself. As new research becomes available, my recommendations evolve. Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to clarify. Yours, ALG |
