Hello all. I haven't disappeared, just a rough tough at home. Still on plan shake and food wise, however I'm probably hurting the cause by not sleeping/stress. They still haven't fixed the kiosk at work so I guess I'll just have to go buy new batteries for my scale. Maybe I'll just wait till next week and get the grand 4 week total. All I now is that the pair of jeans I had to squeeze into last week now go right on. And my mid roll doesn't stick out past my chest anymore. Good visual things which I need...good things. Hope everyone is well.

If I could lose 2 lbs a week, that would be heaven. Was hoping that the first 2 weeks might be a little more. Always one to dream big! I am taking it easy on the exercise these first 2 weeks too. Normally do my ReBounding everyday (love it) and also a dance dvd, plus throw in some kettlebells every now and then. Trying to be more consistent on things.

I am happy that I have gone 4 days with no take out; co-workers even got some & I stayed strong. Big accomplishment for me!

I know we can all reach our goals, no matter what they might be.

    Hi Ladies!

Checking in on Day 3 of my Shakedown..

The good news is I have not eaten any off plan foods. The bad news is I have been dealing with sinus issues for a few weeks which have become way worse since starting. (detox kicking in?) Without going into the gory details, yesterday was just awful with nausea causing multiple trips to the bathroom. Today, I feel a little better and so far had 1/2 apple and a hard boiled egg. Will consider trying a shake for lunch.

Trying all my natural remedies hoping something finally kicks in...

Bad...hope the stress eases up for you this week. When you say you may wait till the 4th week to weigh, does this mean you're doing 4 straight weeks of the SS? Four weeks is okay if you have more than 50 pounds to lose, but do make sure you take the 1 week break after 2 weeks as recommended. (see your booklet, p. 43)

    Love those "visuals" too!!

Dtisdale...you are doing great! I'm happy to hear you are taking it easy on the exercise as the calories in the SS doesn't support any more than is recommended. Kudos to you for staying strong amidst take-out temptations!

    Elisa...how are you doing?

    Sue..what's up with you?

Thanks to Michelle and Janine for being our cheerleaders!
    Happy Shakin'!

    Hello ladies!

Sorry I didn't check in yesterday, had a minor hiccup with a visit to the ER. All seems well now, had my shakes, though sleep has been a bit of an issue.

Bad, sorry to hear about your stress, but happy to hear about the progress!

dtisdale, welcome to the challenge, best of luck and congrats on the upcoming nuptials!

Linda, I hope you feel better soon! Hugs.

    Hey ladies!

Elisa- so sorry to hear about your trouble yesterday- I hope all is well for you!

I just weighed in- I haven't been having soup for a couple days now, but I have done 2 shakes a day and a shakedown style meal (with friendly carbs) since I ran out of my Chicken-Leek Fat Flush Soup. I just hoped on the scale... wowzer I've lost 5 pounds! I didn't expect that! And I know my belly is full of smoothie and almost a liter of water! So that is a welcome surprise

I plan to make more soup soon, probably Tuesday of next week, and I'm going to try and get my roommate to follow the plan with me! We're both doing p90X, so it is a great opportunity to really dial everything in

Suerra - what is a shakedown style meal? I have been doing only one shake at breakfast then salad for lunch and soup for dinner, lost 1.8 lbs in 3 days. Whoo Hoo! but am going to 2 shakes starting tomorrow.

Elisa and Bad - sorry for all that you have been going through.
