Default Let's SHAKE things up! Time for a Fall Shakedown Challenge!

    Hello beautiful people!

It is time for my fall detox and I have just received my supplements, so I am launching a Fall Fat Flush Smoothie Shakedown Challenge!

I want to get most of it done during the school vacation (fall break here!) so I will be starting tomorrow, but you should feel free to jump in whenever you are ready! If you are waiting for your supplements, if you prefer to start on Mondays, if you are out of town and want to time it better... any time is a good time, just join in when you are ready!
And of course if you are already on the SS (*waves* hey there, bad4x4girl!) you are welcome to join in as well!

    Now, for the challenge:
Goal: 2 weeks of FFSS, squeaky-clean
Food: (as outlined in the FFSS Guide) 2 shakes, 1 FF-friendly meal, 2 eggs + unlimited low-GI veggies for snacks
Drink: half your body weight in ounces of water! Even better, make 2 quarts of that cranwater.
Exercise: not a must, but recommended. Keep it light: walking, rebounding, or other light to moderate activity.

Let's go! I'd be tempted to say "May the odds be ever in our favor" but being the FF, they already are

    I LOVE THIS ELISA!!

Having just finished a SS myself, I won't be actually participating this time 'round, but I would LOVE to join in the fun by cheering on our Shakers!
    So who is "IN?"

Day 12 right now but I'm doing the 4 week stint so here I am! FYI - 150 oz of water is A LOT of water. I get my exercise in just walking to the bathroom and back to my desk 10 times a day!

I hear that! It's even more so if 2 quarts of that is cranwater!

I shoot for a gallon, but some days I come up short, especially if I spend all day out of the house. Still, I can always tell the difference when I drink plenty. My skin just looks so much better!

Yesterday it went well. I had my two smoothies for breakfast and dinner, and for lunch I had a roasted bell pepper stuffed with lean ground beef, onions, garlic and cayenne pepper. I also had some FF Pico de Gallo** leftover so I topped it off with that.
I made FF deviled eggs (FFP book, p. 157) for my snacks, and in the afternoon I had two snacks: 2 egg halves with carrot sticks (2 medium organic carrot) and 2 egg halves with slices of cucumber.

This is my first time trying the Body Protein, and I found the smoothies really filling! I was also pleasantly surprised by the taste – I knew that the Whey was delicious, but my experience with vegetarian protein powders always had me reaching for lots of fruit to try and cover the flavor, which was usually chalky. Yuck. Not this time! The Body Protein has the mildest flavor for a vegetarian protein, and it blends nicely.

As for exercise, I did some rebounding yesterday – I decided to lay off my usual cardio while on the Shakedown, and often instead for some light bouncing and a little jogging on the rebounder, motivated by a good playlist on my iPod

Thank you Wendy and Linda for joining the cheerleader section! A gal can always use some cheering!

Good luck on the FF Soup Diet, Sue! Feel free to pop in and tell us how you are doing, too.

Off to start day 2! Had my smoothie and my supplements, now it's almost time for some exercise... I am thinking maybe some Pop Physique today.

    Have a great day, everyone!
    And you bad4x4girl, keep Shaking

** I make mine with red onion and skip the stevia and cumin.

    Hey Tink!

It's going well! It's so easy to make lunch these days

And then shakes are really filling! I am trying different fruit, I think so far the raspberry-lemon one is my fave.
