Thread: Overwhelmed!

    Default Overwhelmed!

    Hi there again,
I'm getting overwhelmed. I ordered the Fat Flush Plan, then found the Fast Track Detox and now I see there is the Fat Flush Soup
Diet. I can not start the Detox Diet because I am going out Saturday and did not want to cheat, so in the meantime I started the
Soup Diet today. My question is can I have snacks on this diet? Also can I combine any of these diets? Please Help!

    Oh No!

The last we want is for you to feel overwhelmed! That said, we do offer a bunch of great choices, so just pick one and stick with it for the recommended amount of time. On the Soup Diet, you may have up to 2 eggs, 2 fruits and unlimited non starchy veggies for snacks. If you get hungry, you can also have a smoothie...just remember to limit your fruits to 2 daily.

You can find the approved list of non starchy veggies on the Shakedown site: www.smoothieshakedown.com

After you are finished with the Soup Diet, it's recommended you move into Phase 2 of Fat Flush if you have more weight to lose or Phase 3 if you have reached your goal.

Fast Track, Fat Flush Phase 1 and the Shakedown are all forms of detox programs, as is the Soup Diet. So transitioning into one of the programs after the Soup Diet would be over detoxing and might even slow down your metabolism as well as your rate of weight loss.

FYI...the Soup Diet doesn't include the Fat Flush or Fast Track supplements. To enhance your results, you might want to consider looking into these supplements which you can find at www.unikeyhealth.com

Hope this helps and good luck!

Thank you for that information. I just have one more question. I really wanted to do the one day fast. Can I do this after the soup diet, or do I have to do that diet from the beginning?
Thank you again for the help!

    Hmmm..interesting question!

We generally don't recommend mixing programs as it can get too confusing. While Fast Track and the Soup Diet are both detox programs, Fast Track's specific purpose is to cleanse the colon and liver through the use of specially chosen foods and supplements. This protocol was designed to prepare you properly for the One Day Fast.

That said, you can always make your own decisions. I just wanted you to be informed of the reason for the protocols.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi!

I need help!! I was waiting for the results of my Saliva test and went ahead with the Smoothie Shakedown, with the supplements. I then got my results and found that my ratio Progesterone to Estadio is suboptimal 5.64:1 vs 300:1 and other things so suddenly I need to take TONS of pills.
    - Dandelion Root 2 in the AM 2 in the PM
    - Uni Key Female MJutliple - 6 a day
    - Adrenal Formula - (3 a day to increase to 6 a day)
    (Progestakey creaam)
plus all the pills for the Smoothie shakedown !! it was WAY TOO MUCH.

I was scared I would be bored with the shakes so I tried doing breakfast and dinner, but found that I would miss the dinner one as my husband usuallly wanted me to eat with him. The pills I would do OK during the day but would always forget in the evening.
    REsult I didn't follow the shakes more then 2-3 days in a row ... I didn't lose weight !! I need HELP!!

I think that along with all you have 'on your plate' with your hormone balancing goals, it would likely be more practical for you to follow Phase 1 of the classic Fat Flush Plan. That way, you can enjoy a smoothie as frequent as twice daily or just a few a week, and you will still be able to eat dinner with your hubby. You can probably hold off on the Dandelion Root Capsules for now, and you definitely don't need to take both the Female Multi AND the Dieters' Multi (i recommend the Female Multi), so that simplifies things right off the bat

    That leaves you with:
    Upon Arising- 1 Adrenal Formula
With Breakfast- 2 GLA 90, 2 Female Multi, 1 Weight Loss Formula, 1 Adrenal Formula
With Lunch- 2 Female Multi, 1 Weight Loss Formula, 1 Adrenal Formula
With Dinner- 2 GLA 90, 2 Female Multi, 1 Weight Loss Formula

It is quite helpful to make up snack sized ziplock bags for the week and label each as Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner. The Progesta-Key can be applied once or twice daily, usually best in morning and before bed. Hope this helps you!

Thanks again!!! This helps ALLOT. The ziplock bags is a great idea!! On the letter received from the Saliva Test it said to take the Adrenal at 7, 11 @ 3pm - (which by the way is aobut the times I get my strongest hot flashes - 8 am - 11-12pm and 4 pm) - I just want to make sure its OK to change to the hours you suggest which would make it easier for me. I wanted to also ask what about the Liver Loving - I am suppose to take 2 in the AM and 2 in the PM?? and why is it OK to hold off on the Dandelion Root capsules, does the weight loss formula have similiar affects???

Thanks again for your prompt response.

Good! I'm glad this is helpful to you

It is fine to adjust the adrenal times if you are more likely to take it by having it as part of your other schedule. Ideally, and especially if you're having hot flashes during those time periods, you should stick to the 7 am, 11 am, and 3 pm schedule. Whatever you decide will be better than not including it at all

You can take the Liver Lovin' either with breakfast and lunch or with breakfast and dinner. Some people say it is quite energizing, so if this is the case for you, it may be beneficial to take it earlier in the day. The Weight Loss Formula does contain some dandelion root, so it is not quite as important to take at this time if you are trying to prioritize. If you would like to add it though, you are certainly welcome to do so.

Got it! I will try to stick to the 7-11-3 for the Adrenal as the hot flashes as pretty strong. I put 3 alarms on my iphone as a reminder In my saliva result letter ALG recommends to gradually increase to 2 Adrenal per time, how do you recommend to do this?

As for the the Dandelion Root I will not take and take the weight loss for now, maybe have it in tea form I imagine that would be OK.

I have to buy the book Fat Flush Plan as I only did the Fast Track Detox in the past and then recently the Smoothie Shakedown, will include in my next order. I'm really looking forward to doing this right this time, I need to lose like 25 lbs, what is a reasonable goal for mid-march, as that is my Mom's 80th Bday and I am hosting the party and would love to look skinny :-)!!

Also I have several b-days of friends coming up - jan 25 is the first any suggestions on how to handle these events?

    Thanks,
    Pat

    Hi Pat!

Dandelion root tea is a great addition to the plan, so feel free to include it.

Where will the upcoming celebrations take place? If it's at a restaurant, it should be fairly simple to have a healthy meal, just order some lean protein cooked without sauces, like baked salmon or grilled shrimp or grilled chicken, and then if it comes with a carb and a veggie, ask for the starchy side dish to be replaced with a second vegetable dish - both veggies should be steamed, or cooked without added fats. Drink lots of water (feel free to add lemon or lime slices) and skip alcohol, dessert and the bread basket, and you'll be fine. I would also make sure you have a protein-rich snack a couple of hours beforehand, so you are not starving.

If the party is at someone's house, perhaps you can eat something beforehand and then bring along a dish to share with everyone else.

It can be a little test in willpower, but it is doable, it just takes a little planning. Good luck!
