    Default report and question

    Hi,
Well I just completed my 2 wk SS. I am 8.5 lbs. down and 10.25 inches total. I was hoping for more like 15 pounds for the 2 week total, but I am ok with the results. On to phase 2 now. I am looking forward to ading some sprouted grain bread and sweet potatoes in this new phase! I do need to up my rebounding. I have been doing 20 min per day but only 3-4 days per week as I have been working a lot and been really tired when I get home and sill have housework, kids etc.. needing my attention. I also only took 1 bath over these past 2 weeks and was shooting for 3-4 so I am going to try to shoot for this this week.

Question- When washing fruits and veg., is it necessary to put lemons that will only be squezed (not using peels) and cucumbers which will be peeled before eating, in the clorox bath? Thanks
    Maria

WOOHOO Maria...those are some stellar Shakedown results!

I would suggest starting out with a sweet potato (or other veg choices) as your Phase 2 Friendly Carb as we have found over the years that the starchy veggies are generally better tolerated than the breads. Lots of Flushers have reported bloating and even weight gain which you won't want to experience after just coming off the SS. If you do well with the starchy veggies, then try one of the acceptable breads (or tortillas. Just my 2 cents!

I Clorox whole fruits and veggies with skin that will be peeled or cut in half before using because the exposed surfaces are susceptible to coming in contact with bacteria, dirt and pesticides.

    Hope this helps!
