Smile The Cortisol Connection: Stress Less to Weigh Less

Stress isn’t just wearing you down, it’s making you fat! And, you likely have cortisol to blame. Default need help resolving corisol levels...

I have been to many doctors over the past year & finally spoke with a doctor that told me stress/cortisol was to blame for the symptoms I'm having. all the doctors I saw earlier in the year in 2011 said my blood work looked great & there was nothing wrong. the doctor I started seeing recently said that my cortisol levels & thyroid levels were not good (t3 & t4 levels not good) & my iron levels are low. the symptoms I've been having that I can't seem to get rid of are my hair started falling out around February of 2011 & my body was bruising extremely easy. my hair isn't thinning in any particular spot, but I have lost more in my bangs. my doctor has me taking magnesium, iron, hair/skin/nail vitamin & an adrenal formula which I've been on for about 3 months, but I'm still losing my hair. I went thru a divorce in Mar-Jun of 2011 & was not eating much at all. I also lost 30 lbs between Dec 2010 & Mar 2011. i'm a 34-yr old female, so losing my hair is not helping my stress levels. any recommendations you could give me would be much appreciated.

Hi there! I would highly recommend doing a Tissue Mineral Analysis. The sample can be taken from body hair or fingernails if hair loss is a concern, but this test would be very telling about your Thyroid and Adrenal Glands, all your mineral levels, and if you might have any toxic heavy metals that are contributing to your symptoms.
