    Default 1week between SS

Im on day 7 of SS and have lost 7 lbs . Cant wait to see how much more i lose by day 14! have a total of 50 lbs to lose. During my 1 week break before I start SS again the guide says to have 2 meals & 1 smoothie. Can I add in any bread or tortillas this week?

    Hi Kathy,
Congratulations on those 7 pounds and "Good for you" on your commitment to your health!

You are on a roll with the Shakedown and there's a good chance that adding bread products during your 'between' week could derail your success. The best way to go is to continue with the Shakedown approved meal you've been doing and just re-create the same type of meal for your 2nd meal during your 'between' week.

You can check www.smoothieshakedown.com for more information and as always, we are here to support you and answer your questions. Keep us posted on your progress and your questions. We're here for you!

Hi Kathy! I agree with Michelle. Your break should consist of 2 Shakedown approved meals and 1 smoothie, and still your unlimited approved veggies and 2 eggs. Congratulations thus far and best wishes for your continued success!

I will start my day 6 tomorrow and this is the first I have heard of a "break" between weeks. Can you tell me about that or where I can find some information? Thanks

    Hi VickieK,

Smoothie Shakedown is designed to be a two week program. However, some people want to continue the program longer than two weeks. Dr. Ann Louise recommends that anyone desiring to do the Shakedown longer than two weeks should take a break from the program between weeks 2 and three.

Here's a quote from www.smoothieshakedown.com. There's lots of more great info there that you'll enjoy reading.

Q: I’ve had really good results during the two weeks, can I keep doing the Shakedown?
A: If you have 50 pounds or more to lose, you can stick to this particular program for up to one month at a time. In order to maximize your results, it is recommended to take a one-week break before starting another two-week round of the Shakedown. During the break, enjoy one smoothie and two Shakedown meals daily or follow Classic Fat Flush Phase 1 or 2 in order to stay on track. The Fat Flush Kit supplements are safe and effective for lifetime weight management.

Great to know! I am on day 7 and down 5 lbs! Never have I done this before. After the 2 weeks I will go to the phase 2 as I have about 25 lbs to go.
