Flax Seed Oil
I am about to start the Smoothie Shakedown diet. I have not gotten my kit yet but I have read the importance of Flax Seed Oil. How much of this stuff will I be taking a day and I was wondering if I can use the capsules instead of the oil or if I can just take the oil straight from a spoon and follow with water. I would prefer to have a good tasting smoothie than to have to mask the taste of the oil if it is stong.

You'll be taking two tablespoons per day of FSO. You want to spread these out; maybe one at breffie and one at dinner to help carry you through the day. You can take it off the spoon but take it with your meal, K? The good quality ones are kept refrigerated and have a nice light, nuttty flavor. Barleans and Spectrum both make good ones. You aren't going to want to mess with the pills. You'd have to take 18/day to meet the requirement :0

I absolutely could never take a spoonful of flax oil, but I don't notice it one bit in my smoothies. I was rather skeptical at first, too, but give it a try in there and I bet you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Just wanted to say I've been Fat Flushing for 10+ years and have never once tasted the flax oil in my daily smoothies!
Also...you can experiment using some of your flax oil in a salad dressing. Check out the Fat Flush Cookbook for some tasty recipes!
