    Default smoothie shakedown....

i just ordered your whey protein powder and the smoothie shakedown book....
my goal is to (of course) start eating better....and to lose about 20lbs....i have
a question about eggs.....i love eggs and see that they are encouraged to eat
as snax....but i am allergic to eggs.....i have no reaction when i eat them....
would it sabotage the diet...or is it doing harm to my body if i continue to eat them?
(i had blood work and determined i'm allergic to eggs and gluten)....
    thanx....

Hey there! Welcome to our little community here

It's likely that your allergy causes some low level inflammation that is not easily easily discernible. You can sometimes actually reverse an allergy, if you take vitamin D, support your adrenals, take a good probiotic, and use L-Glutamine to fortify your intestinal villi. In order to reverse the allergy, you should completely avoid the offending food for at least two months.

That being said, it is possible that you're not allergic to cooked eggs. The proteins in the albumin change when heated, and that may be why you don't outwardly notice and adverse reaction to them.

I'm a big proponent of eggs- they have numerous health benefits! If you would like a second opinion on your allergy, UNI KEY does saliva based food intolerance testing. Let me know what you decide to do!
