Hi! My name is Elisa Bieg, I’m a 30-something former translator, passionate traveler, long-time expat and mother of two.

I was born and raised in Italy, but my passion for travel and other cultures has taken me to a bunch of different places, including stints living in Milan, Los Angeles, Copenhagen, Zurich, and New York.

Unfortunately being a global nomad, paired with two pregnancies and a few years spent burning the candle at both ends as a workaholic translator, brought up some of the worst my genes had in store for me, including digestive issues, low blood sugar and a sluggish thyroid and adrenal function.

Which is how, some 10 years ago, I became interested in Nutrition and Holistic Health. I began reading and looking into anything that sounded interesting and informative, and the more I read and learned, the more I wanted to know! Through the years I have read a number books and articles on these topics, experimented with various dietary currents and guidelines; but nothing, absolutely nothing brought about the positive changes and wellbeing that applying the principles in Ann Louise Gittleman’s books did.

The Fat Flush Plan, specifically, was how for the first time I could manage to lose weight without suffering a bland diet or grueling workouts, dramatically improve my energy levels, get rid of cellulite… and it was like the gift that kept on giving, the benefits just kept accumulating!

After experiencing some of the amazing benefits that Fat Flush had to offer, I had the pleasure to work as Forum moderator for two years, from 2005 to 2007. After having my second child and going through an overseas move, however, I had to abandon that role to take care of my family and help create a life for us in our new home.

A few years, a lot of traveling and a couple of moves later, I am still a firm believer in Fat Flush, Fast Track, and the other very informative works of Ms. Gittleman’s, and so it is my pleasure and honor to assume my role as Forum Moderator again, and share my passion for nutrition and holistic health and my belief in Fat Flush , Fast Track and Ann Louise’s other amazing work with all of the forum members and anyone who might be where I’ve been many times: ready to improve their health, their body shape, their whole outlook on life thanks to a plan that really works.
