    Default Hash Browns

    "Hash Brown" Radishes (Phase 3)
    1 serving

Radishes (14 red or one large daikon)
    red and green peppers, chopped
    onion, chopped
    garlic
olive or coconut oil (use medium heat coconut oil)

Wash radishes and remove tops and tails. You may peel the red skin if you like, but not necessary. Shred the radishes. I use my chop wizard. The radishes look like mini shoestring potatoes.

In small skillet, add 1-2 teaspoons oil and heat til hot. Add onion & garlic, then radishes and peppers. Cook radishes until tender and browned, stirring/flipping as needed. You may also sprinkle onion & garlic powder on radishes.

    And ENJOY!

(Note: if using the red radishes, they loose their peppery taste after cooking)

This is the most delicious recipe! Our daikon are huge - one make two frying pans full of 'browns'.
So wonderful to be able to eat a pile of hash browns and know that it's a veggie and some oil.

Recipes like this make FFlushing for life possible!
