    Post Bedtime snack

I'm in week 3 of FFCP2 (and losing steadily). This is my second time back. I felt great the last time I did this, maybe 7 years ago. I lost 40 pounds the first time and have recently found 15 of those pounds. My goal is to lose those 15 and 5 more. I've lost 8 pounds so far, so I'd say it's going well. Because of food addiction issues I skipped phase 1. Even following phase 2 I had detox symptoms and am happy with my rate of weight loss. My question is: I don't sleep well unless I have a snack before bedtime. I think I read somewhere that ALG has approved that option. Am I okay doing this? The way I do it is I eat 1 oz. less of protein at lunch and dinner and save one of my veggie carbs and eat them as a bedtime snack. Is this okay? One other question. I've just ordered ALG's new book FF for Life. Would you recommend I finish phase 2 before trying to digest the new plan or is it easy enough to transition from on to the other. This community is a great support. Thanks to all who participate.

    Hi Mariah,
Welcome to the Forum! It sounds like you are making the Plan work for you a second time- congrats on your quick weight loss! ALG has recommended stirring a serving of Whey Protein into a glass of water before bed to help you sleep. It's better not to have food with substance in your digestive tract while you're sleeping.

Thanks for the response Janine. I'll try the whey powder with water and see how that goes.

In response to switching to Fat Flush for Life, you can do the phase 2 which is actually Spring in the Fat Flush for Life book. It does have more options. The Fall Fat Flush is a vegetarian plan, but it does have some yummy foods in it.
