I see Sprout Living and Nutribiotic brands might be good. Does anyone know? Also, I cannot have vanilla either, so it has to be another flavor or plain.

    Hi usctrojan,

    Welcome to the Forum!

I am not familiar with Sprout Living, but have used Nutribiotic Rice Powder. If this is what you find works best for you, then definitely go with it.

Let us know how you do with it, k?

I don't know what works for me, which is why I was asking their recommendations. Did you like Nutribiotic? Is it approved? Is there another brand you really like? I would appreciate any input.

    Thanks!

The only approved protein powders are the two manufactured by Uni Key. The reason being is that they have been formulated to Dr. Ann Louise's strict guidelines, with no sneaky ingredients (Did you know if there is less than 3% of an item in a product, they don't need to list it in the ingredients?). They are also third party tested.
But you need to use what you can use due to allergy so you'll need to make the best decision. K? You can make it work for you and have success

I agree with Janine completely. You won't know what agrees with you until you try.

I used the Nutribiotic Brown Rice Protein Powder some time ago when I was testing products for Dr. Ann Louise. It's a "clean" product as I recall. (check the label as formulations can change) However, because it didn't have the green pea component, it didn't satisfy as long as Uni Key's Body Protein which is a combo of both.

    Hope this helps,

I have used their organic rice protein in the past as well and did well on it.

Maybe get a few single-serving packs to try it out, and see how you do on them; that way if for any reason you don't like it or don't do well on it you won't find yourself with an unused jar of rice protein at home.

If you don't find a protein powder that works for you, consider adding a couple ounces of lean protein to your daily allotment, for snacks. For instance, some tuna salad with FF mayo paired with veggie sticks makes a great afternoon snack! And for breakfast there are of course eggs... you can find lots of P1 breakfast recipes here.

Let us know how you do!
