Thread: Think I'm done

    Default Think I'm done

I gained back my 5 lb loss and then some. I'm just overwhelmed by carb cravings again. I have to quit since its not getting better and the supplements are unaffordable for our income right now, especially since I'm not losing weight or inches. I'm so sad because I was so excited about this program! Oh well.

I'm so sorry. I'm sad for you. How long have you been doing the SS?

Medora, I'm so sorry you are giving up. I don't know exactly what you were eating on the program, but it will work if you follow the foods and portions on the plan. Carb cravings are a real pain. It can be because of yeast overgrowth, which is actually caused by sugar and refined carbs. Y-C Cleanse is a big help with yeast and reducing cravings. Sounds like you would have this problem to deal with on any plan you follow for weight loss.

    Hi Lizbeck,
I was just curious as to how long someone would have to stay on the YC Cleanse? Is it something you take when just showing symptoms or is it a product that you continually supplement the body with. Does the Florakey not work in a similar manner?

    Cheryl,
Both products help control yeast. Flora-Key is beneficial bacteria that kills and crowds out the yeast in your gut. It can and should be taken on an ongoing basis for optimum health.

Y-C Cleanse can be taken when you have symptoms to stimulate your body's immune system to target the yeast. It can be taken for as long as necessary to get rid of the symptoms.

I take both of these products. They do work.

Another miracle herb for the yeasties is Pao d'Arco. Comes in pill or tea form. Usually not too expensive and you can often make your own capsules if you find it at the health food stores. Keep this on hand to take if you ever have to take antibiotics again - take one with each dose. I've taken 2-3x the regular dose to control a yeast influx.

Remember that as the yeast dies, it creates this kinda 'overflow' as all the little critters die. It can be really bad on the cravings, or a vaginal itch situation. It really is getting better - just has to get worse first.

Hope you stick with it and come back. Even if you can only do the cran water, the FF plan is the way to live.

I have the Y-C Cleanse and am currently on week two of the Phase 1. When do I take it? Before or after the cran water and lemon juice? Or in between?

Also, I have about 20 pounds to lose. Do I stay in Phase 1 until I reach my goal weight?
