Michele ~ not sure how you would spell Wendy's. How about Wx2?
Yup - plumber will be out tomorrow to fix my faucet.
Have you thought of doing the Classic Fat Flush Plan?
You will get intense cravings at first, doing any candida cleanse. That is how you know it's working. Candida is suffering and screaming: "FEED ME SUGAR! ! ! !" It does take some will power to fight those cravings. Once you do, it gets easier.
I'm back on P1 of FFP. I know this is the detox stage. But, I like the restriction of this phase a bit better.
I hope, between Candida cleansing and this phase, I can really shake down the pounds AND shrink into a smaller size!
Had to ease up on the YC dosage. I measured out 1 teaspoon by using 6 droppers. (must be weak finger-squeezing thing here)
Last night I only used 3 droppers and the die off symptoms have eased up.
However, my joints ache something fierce today.
So, I will keep with the smaller dosage for a week and then increase slowly.
I know I have moderate to severe candida issues. Or is that moderately-severe candida?
Anyways, I am in it for the long haul and will post my detoxing symptoms too.
I want to be a help and encouragement to others that need to do candida cleansing.
It's a tuff battle, but, the health benefits will be the great reward.
Also, being a cancer survivor, I want to eliminate the chances of it reoccurring again!
Hope everyone is having a fantastic fat flushing day!
Hard to hear of your continuing candida issues - but I guess that's reality for many people.
I only had to do a major cleanse once - with the collaboration of my dr and 3 days of diflucon (the pink pill) and the pao d'arco I
kicked it - and have maintained it with the pao d'arco since then.
Tired from the fair, but ready to get back on track. Definitely do not feel good when I miss my supplements, etc.
Had another hot flash last night - from no flax for days. Ate a bowl of hot flax cereal last night. Yummy.
Have fun on FF1 again. I'm not ready to go back there, but might right before the holidays for a week.
Hey Wendy! It's funny when you say good morning to me and the time stamp 12:52 pm! hee hee I know Hawaii is about 5 hours difference from Chicago time.
Still gotta get to the health food store to get pao d'arco. I just keep forgetting.
What did you do at the fair?
Just made another batch of flax/chia crackers with tomato sauce, garlic and onions. I almost put in crushed red peppers to give it a kick.
After dinner, I am going to take some magnesium. Then, YC cleanse.
Yes, the candida is pretty bad in me.
Almost 20 years ago, I had really bad bladder issues and had to have my urethra stretched so I could wee. I also had urine reflux back into my kidneys on occasion. Talk about being really uncomfortable! Anyways, for about 1 1/2 years, I was on a mild antibiotic because of constant bladder infections and blood in the urine. I knew nothing about probiotics or alternative medicine then, and that is what started the issues I have today. I would get really bad sinus infections, steady weight gain that included sugar cravings, psoriatic arthritis, ear infections, and the list goes on...
But, now, even tho I am going thru detox, I am noticing good things too. My nose feels cleaner and less crustier. I have less brain fog and a bit more energy. So, I know there is good to come of this in the long run!
Hi Janine! Are you candida cleansing too? Yes, less mucus in the nose, even tho I am blowing my nose! Tummy not shrinking yet, but that shall come in time... Gotta stay focused and steady with this!
My flax/chia crackers use a dehydrator. I tweaked this recipe a few times and this is what I came up with.
But, I can post them here:
In a large glass dish add 1 1/2 C flax seeds & 1/2 Cup chia seeds
Mix and add 3 Cups of purified water and set aside to soak for 3-4 hours.
(I had these seeds soaking for 8 hours at one time and the crackers came out OK)
After soaking time, add (1) 8oz can of Muir Glen Tomato sauce.
This is your base recipe for the crackers.
At this point, you can add Italian seasonings or organic taco seasonings, or what ever flavor you like, or crushed red peppers if you like a kick in your cracker!
Spoon out on teflon sheets and smooth out to a flat sheet with a spatula. Even up the edges and shape to size of sheet.
Place in dehydrator @ 135 degrees for 10-16 hours. Flip cracker sheet over after 8-9 hours for even drying.
This recipe makes about 5 sheets of crispy crackers.
NOTE: the longer you soak the seeds, the softer they become after they are dried, making it easy to chew.
Not sure how you could do this in an oven, but I am sure parchment paper may be needed.
WOW ~ it seems like overnight, the bloating went away! No inches lost yet, but bloating gone!
I did not sleep well last night. Gotta make my Natural Calm Magnesium again and have some before retiring at night.
My other (2) bottles of YC Cleanse just came today! Always fast shipping with Unikey! :0)
Now I am set for serious candida k-bosh-ing!
I am off work for the next 4 days and I have (3) 32oz jars of fluids on the kitchen counter. I gotta make sure I drink at least that much today.
Even the scale god is now co-operating! Back to my original 10 pound loss. And I am really enjoying Phase 1 again of FFP. Wish I could stay here forever!
TAP ~ TAP ~ CRUNCH! (that a flax cracker crunch!) To everyone today!
I did several rounds of the Y-C Cleanse around 2008 and since then I keep a bottle in the bathroom. On days when I've had a glass of wine or treated myself with a wee dessert, I take a dose at night otherwise I'm goopy in the mornin'.
Crackers sound fantastic, I'm doing to have to try the oven version -
I will hit the scale this Sunday to see where I am with losses (or lack thereof).
I drank most of the water on the counter yesterday.
Today, I have finished one 32oz bottle of water and started the next... (with c-water).
For some reason I woke up with a bit of a headache. Not sure if it is detoxing or the change in weather, or both. A cold front has hit Chicago and the cool weather is wonderful, but not so much with the rain.
