Oh no! Not the holidays already!
I just came across my Christmas tree when going through the garage sale stuff! Doh! And I did sell the frig!!! $55 more to add to the pot (although since alot of it was my son's toys I told him we could buy an Xbox with the $$$).
Do hope that guy pays you though. Otherwise, bad Karma to him

Yes, Holidays are fast approaching. Gonna start my shopping now, or soon! I hate last minute stuff...

I live alone, so I do not do a Christmas tree anymore, or decorations. It's a drag decorating by yourself... enjoying by yourself... then having to put it all away... by yourself! I know other singles like me that have the same approach to holiday decorating. Not that we don't like them or the holiday itself... It's a lot of work for one person... So, I like to hop in my car with a friend or two and drive around town the week before Christmas and ooooo/aaaaahhhhh everyone else's decorations!

I had a dream about that Doctor last night. I dreamed that I went to his office to pick up my check and he was not going to give it to me. I just told him I would pray for him. Let The Lord deal with people like that.... What a cheap-skate! Maybe there will be a check in the mail today. If not, I will let it go AND pray.......

Busy week, worked Mon and Tues. Today, the plumber is coming out to fix my bath tub faucet. It needs a new cartridge. The old one "popped" and now leaks and sometimes there is a puddle on the floor between the tub and toilet. Always something. Another lemon thrown at me...

Golly, I suppose I should make lemonade!

I know the holidays are coming, but I used to shop early and then ended up spending way more money that way than if I just waited and did it all at once. I do have to shop early for family though since I have to ship presents.... sigh ....
I do decorate and my son and bf help so that is ok. I like the setting up but hate the taking down (which usually isn't til the end of January since I procrastinate!).
That is the right attitude about the Doctor though. Karma will get him and maybe he will pay you afterall! Crossing my fingers for you on that (maybe it will pay for the plumber!)

Plumber came and was not able to fix my tub faucet. The plastic cartridge behind the wall is cracked and there is no part number on it. So, I am gonna look around. Maybe Grainger may have it. Tomorrow, bathcrafters will be out to give me an estimate on remodeling the tub area. I may do a tub-to-shower conversion.

However, I did speak with the owner (from the plumbing company) today and asked if he needed help in the office, invoicing ect... Hey! Always looking and asking! He said he may be interested!

My weight is still about 2 pounds up, but, the bloating is going, going... I am feeling more clear headed and energetic.
Not really setting aside an exercise schedule of rebounding or walking, but, I am getting more active in doing things that do not involve sitting on the couch.

Cleaned out the garage, tossed more things to the curbside for garbage pick-up. Swept out my storage locker and removed all spider egg nests. Swept the other stalls and all spider webs on light fixtures and walls. I am talking about a 4-car garage that is shared with other tenants. Then, I sprayed for spiders and other bugs. I don't like spiders.

Hanging in there with FFP and candida cleansing.... Hoping the weight will just melt away soon...

Good for you for hanging in here with us.
I believe our weight will melt away - or flush away - soon. When I look back, I somehow have lost 15 pounds. How'd that happen?!
Little at a time, little at a time. Is it a teeter totter along the way with water, bloating and a few reactions - yep. But that's the way it is.

Saw my knee Surgeon yesterday at the fair. He was thrilled with the weight loss. Gonna take awhile before I get knees, but I'm heading in the right direction.

Yea to the death of spiders. I'd love a neighbor who cleans and sprays for spiders

Tap Tap. Melt a few ounces today and celebrate your Friday!

Been really busy. Plus, I was not able to get on the forum this morning for some reason.
Had a company come out to give me an estimate on remodeling my entire bathroom.
    $9,722.00!
Even whittling it down, $6,324.00 for just the tub area, tub-to-shower conversion, remove old tile, new green rock and acrylic wall and base with chair. ***GAG***
So, I found the cartridge for the faucet for a bout $30. Now, the plumber has got to come out and put it in. OK ~ a quick fix: a band aid. Then, I asked the plumber (owner) if he needed help in the office with invoicing, etc. Hey! Always looking and asking! He just may need some help in the near future.

Today, I went to clean the office where I work. It is an electrical shop and VERY dirty! I told the boss the floor by the toilet is NASTY!!! Hey, I don't sprinkle the area. So, my friend came with me and we really blasted that office. It's still dirty, but it is also cleaner than what it was. If that makes sense. Now, I am bushed!

This Monday, I am going to go back to phase 1 of FFP for a few weeks or so. Eating a few carb-y things are not helping me lose.
So, I hope to see the scale back where it was a few weeks back...

I have decided to stop this one candida cleansing product. Only because... if I increase the dosing a little, the next morning I have a whopper of a headache and I feel hung-over... And I did not have any alcohol! So, I will be on YC Cleanse. I ordered two bottles @ 20% off. So, I have 3-1/2 months worth of YC Cleanse. Still gonna do that during Phase 1 of FFP.

Yikes! That's way too much for a remodel of a bathroom. Have a good friend in the Chicago area. Let me see if I can find his contact info. He does all this stuff all the time.

Been at the fair - long, long volunteer days. Not enough cran water, or even water. Legs are swollen and painful. Can't wait to be back in my routine.

More later. Late here...gotta go crash.

I know a few people too, but I just don't have the funds right now. I want to save up the money. Gotta get another PT job! ;^)

I did not do so good this weekend either. The office cleaning really hurt my body. Then, I did not drink enough fluids. So, today, between inflammation and water retention, my weight is up a bit.

I hope you feel better today! And yes, it will be good to get back on a regular routine.

    Gotta go to work...

    Hi Wendys, Wendy-s, Wendies?
    What is the correct plural?
Yeah, my weekend was both good and bad. Had a good visit with my friend and her family before they move away to Virginia til next June, but way too much bad food and alcohol. Good news is that I broke even for the week... Restarting the Shakedown tomorrow I think....
I ordered some of the YC cleanse as well when it was discounted. Might wait til it gets here to start. I was having really bad cravings when I was on it. Not sure if it was something to do with my cycle or just?????
Remodels are so expensive!!! The $30 quick/short term fix sounds like what I would do as well!
And other Wendy, how did the fair pan out?
    Michele
