Golly - been a week since my last post. Time flies...
Have not been doing well the past few days.
Candida cleansing is really knocking me off my rear!
Yes, I am taking a low dosage. Any lower and I would not be taking anything.
Must have an overload of candida to kill!

Monday, I got news that the new PT job I got is no longer interested in my services. GAHHHH! Something about a personality conflict? Not sure what that is about......... But, I was polite and appreciated the honesty and we hung up. O well... I was not happy about the job anyway. Too, "old school" in bookkeeping and the work was redundant, computer and had written... I don't like rejection... that coupled with candida screaminig "FEED ME SUGAR!" well... I gave in and bought a 1/2 gal of icecream Monday nite and ate it.
Also, Monday morning, I woke up with a sty on my left eye! My eyelid was really swollen, almost shut!
So, I sat on on pity potty, ate ice cream with a hot pack on my eye - what a sight!

OK - get a grip! Life happens!
I do not like these little tests (or is it pop quizes?) that happens!
Not to mention how lousy I feel from the icecream.

So, I am back on track today...
At my other job, will a still slightly puffy eye and a moderate headache.
Why do I do this to me?
    I am a stong person.
But even strong ladies have weak moments.

    I cannot drink 64 oz of c-water.
It burns.... then I tried drinking it without stevia for three days! AAAAACK!
I diluted it too. Cannot drink it without stevia. So, I just drink more water and lemonade, yes with stevia.
I'm sure the candida has alot to do with it. Better stevia than sugar.
I am positive that as the candida clears, so will my need for sweet.
Still have a yeast infection, my skin itches too. Will this madness stop??????
I think I am going to pull out my sauna tonight and help sweat out the toxins.
    Gotta tuff this out!
O, and I am taking probiotics, and no fruit.

I am still detoxing from candida. I stopped the cleansing stuff for a few days to let my body settle a bit. I will resume tonight. But, I still feel crummy. Boy, I sure must of awakened the Candida Monster in me. It's having a temper tantrum, BIG TIME!
Yesterday, my sinus cavities just below my eyes are feeling sore.

But, I need encouragement to keep going!
I keep telling myself this IS for the better!
This IS for the better! THIS IS FOR THE BETTER!
This WILL help me loose weight FASTER, or at least better.

The weight is doing the roller coaster thing again. I am not worried.
But I do feel bloated again.

I will keep on with FFP and Candida cleansing, or is that fighting!
I will feel better soon! I know it. Any day now!

    Aloha Wendy!
So sorry to hear about the candida challenge. That's never fun. I swear by the Pao d'arco and wouldn't live without it.

Hang in there girlfriend! We are the dynamic duo - Wendy's (I'd like to due a squared sign, but can't on here) and we are
    also Incredibly Shrinking Women...

Who happen to like ice cream once in awhile...

Even though we know that our bodies are gonna make us pay for our choices.

The amazing thing is that our bodies tell us what they need - and don't need. We are learning to listen and heed the call to be
healthy. Not all the time, but enough so that we can still be called LOOSERS.

Sorry to hear about the job, but another door will open soon.

    Hugs and aloha for you.

Stayin' on track. Altho, I do find that I do not eat enough in a day. Maybe that is what is causing me to stall?

My joints ache today. Partly, as a form of detoxing with candida and the other part is the changing of the seasons.
It was 38 this morning. Fired up the furnace and pew! The dust burn off smell from sitting all summer long and no usage.

Wendy - I think I wanted ice cream because I have not had any dairy products at all (other than eggs). At least I got that out of my system! No harm done, other than the sugar buzz and headache. Not even gained any weight! But, I did not loose!

It took a few days to get my head back on straight - but, I am committed to taking the weight off.
I want to be a BIG LOOSER!
Inch by inch and pound by pound!
    I will not give up!
(I may give in a few times)

I will still continue with the candida cleansing.
Next time I get to the health food store, I will get Pau d'arco.
I have not seen it in at Wal-mart or Sam's.
But,I will get some and add it to my cleansing.
    Yeast infection is almost gone.

Next, in the line of finding things to do and staying occupied: Clean out the kitchen, cabinets, and frig. Get rid of what I do not use any more. Same with the living room. Some things I will post on Craigslist to sell, but most is junk. I can be a bit of a pack-rat. So, it's time to simplify my life and get healthy doing it!
After that, I will paint the kitchen. I hope to be doing that the first week in October.

I need to do these projects. It helps to keep my mind off of eating and helps me mentally.

In the meantime, I will continue to look for another PT job.

    Candida Update
I have been candida cleansing now since 9/12/12, 13 days.
I am taking something different than YC Cleanse (only because I got this first and want to use it up). This is taken once a day, about 1/2 hour before going to bed at night. This way I can do FFP things in the AM. Also, I take my probiotics during the day, but hours apart from taking the candida cleanser.

Definately experienced detoxing... headaches, achy joints, bouts of diarrhea, bloating, brain fog, tired, lethargic and sure there are a few more not mentioned. O, cravings, too! Been eating more sweetened things with stevia, no fruit.
Along with the bloating, there was an slight increase in weight gain, about 4 pounds worth! GAAAHHHH!
However, the past few days, the gain is going, going.... And I am almost back at the 10 pound weight loss mark.
The bloating is going down... and starting to feel better!

Anyone thinking about cleansing, I only suggest doing one cleanse at a time. Other cleanes do not take as long as candida. I plan to stay with this for at least 3 months, maybe longer.

I know this is helping my liver too! In fact, just before starting FFP, I went to the Dr and had blood work done, cholesterol, TSH, etc.
Good news! Even tho the cholesterol is 233, it is lower that what it has been in previous years (I remember it being 270 at one time)! Tryglicerides (sp?) is at 199, but this goes hand in hand with the cholesterol, but still good. TSH is good. All other levels are good. Even my liver enzymes are good, a bit on the high side, but not in the **WARNING** catagory! I hope in 5 months when I get it all checked again, the cholesterol will be lower and the liver enzymes improved! Not to mention lower in weight too! :0)

Another week of P2 and I may jump to P1 again for a few weeks, especially since my losses were better and I have much to loose.

Have a great Day to all that read my journal!

    Hi Wendy,
Wow! Sounds like you have had a run of bad luck Hope you feel better soon and find another PT job!
Parents were here for 2 weeks and then 1 week of conference from hell (our biggest fund raiser of the year at work!).
Needless to say, the Fast Track weightloss I had is almost gone! Way too much bad food and lots, lots of alcohol
    Starting the Smoothie Shakedown today.
I'm with you on the pack rat thing. We had a garage sale when my parents were here. Lots of work for $192 but did clear things out a bit. Have stuff on Craislist. Supposedly someone is giving me $55 tonight for my old refrig. Hope he dosen't flake!
I have faith that things will look up for you soon!

Hi Michelle! Missed you! But, glad you had fun with your parents! I had thought of a garage sale, but I just don't have the patience to do that. I will sell some big ticket items on Craiglist, but that is about it. However $192 is not bad for selling stuff. Hope you sell your frig! All in all, life happens. We need to learn how to change our old habits in exchange for new habits when life throw lemons at us! hee hee We need to learn how to make lemonade, the stevia kind! woo hoo!

But, glad you are not giving up. Get back up and on the wagon to weight loss with both Wendy's! That's Wendy and Wendy, or is that Wendy and Wendy?? bwahahahahahah!

The more the merrier! Anyone else can join in too!

Things do look up for me. I was on my pity-potty for a day after loosing that job. That is all I will allow for "o, poor me" attitude. As far as I am concerned, it's HIS loss, not mine. And I see this as it was not meant to be. Now, I am waiting to see if the Bozo is gonna pay me for the 4 hours. If he does not, then, what goes around will come around back to him. There's something better out there! Besides, the Holidays are fast approaching. O, did I hear a few groans out there???? Maybe I will find a PT holiday job.

So, start shakin' down those pounds!!!

We are an unbeatable combination - Wendy and Wendy...

We Wendy's are a rare breed - not many of us around. So having two of us playing in the same place at the same time - well that's just got to add some magic to our adventure!

Love the holidays! Already planning how to adapt some recipes - and some will just be created but not eaten. Landlord coming with his new son (adopted from Korea) and I've already told the landlord that his son will go home knowing how to bake cookies and frost them
When I first rented this place, and he came to visit I made choco chip cookies. I bake everything from scratch. He'd never seen anyone bake cookies that didn't come out of a tube from the dairy case! Too Funny!

Cookie dough is my downfall, so I hand off the beaters and make sure I bake them ALL asap.

    What are your holiday plans?

Wendy is not that common... especially when I was in school. My mom love the story of Peter Pan. So, I got named Wendy, after the character in that story. I studied the name too, and found that the name was created for that story - Peter Pan. In essence, Wendy was created in the mid 40's when the movie came out. I guess it's better to have Wendy as a name than Tinkerbell!

The cookie thing reminded me of the days when I was a Sunday School teacher for children. I used to have Birthday Sunday once a month and celebrated every childs b'day for that particular month. My cupcakes were home made from scratch - as with the icing. The kids went bonkers over them. Then I made home made choc-chip cookies. Most kids ate them and enjoyed, except one boy in particular. He did not like my cookies. All of us adults were flabbergasted! I inquired as to why he did not like them. Turns out he NEVER had homebaked goods. Mom either baked from a box, tube or packaged! We got a big chuckle out of that and the other kids wanted his cookies! What a sheltered life!

I love ginger snaps! I have some raw cookie recipes that are really good. They use almond flour and cashew flour.

Holidays???? She asks! Baahhh Humbug! No just kidding! Not sure yet, but I will not be cooking. I just go visit everyone. Now my uncle will probably bake a half million kinds of cookies like he does every year, then gives them away. I will also get home made fudge (about 1.25 pounds) that is to DIE for! One bite and you are off on a sugar buzz! I just hope we get lots of snow this year!

What are you doing for the Holidays?

Yes, our name came from Peter Pan. When my mom was in labor, there was another woman also delivering. They both wanted to name their girls Lisa, so agreed that the firstborn would be List, the second would be Wendy. So I'm Wendy. Way better than Tink!

Share your raw recipes. I'll be doing a lot of experimenting. Just got coconut sugar - that's way low on the glycemic index.

Holidays? Put up my awesome fiber optic tree, decorate a bit around here, get ready for a houseful (everyone visits during the holidays) and prepare for my second Christmas without snow. A fair trade, however, is my tree backlit by the beautiful Hawaiian sunset each evening. And maybe it will snow on top of Haleakala. But no snow in my future for a long time.

Have a great fat flushing day!

    Wendy
