Just finished my LLC and waiting to take the lemon water. Finished up the last bit of painting, trim, baseboards and the bi-fold doors yesterday and I seem to just collapse. I am tired. The kitchen is next, but I will wait a week for that. Not as young as I used to be. But, I want it done. Tired of procrastinating. I have a "masters" in procrastination. So, it's time to change my "masters", and be a master of "Get 'er done!" Even at the cost of being sore and stiff. But, it's a good soreness! Soreness of satisfaction and accomplishment.

This brings me to FFP - I am up a few pounds. GGRRR! But, I do know that inflammation is the culprit here, in that I am retaining water. Once the inflammation goes away, the weight will normal back out.

Today, I plan to make home made flax crackers, have wanted to snack on something crunchy lately... I make my own flax crackers with a dehydrator. Soak the seeds in water for a few hours and then add the spices. Will add chia seeds to it. The drying part takes about 12-16 hours. While the seeds are soaking, I'll be making spinach flat bread. Been wanting "sandwich" type food lately, too.

I tried to make the EZ Classic Mayo but, for some reason that was a flop. I followed the directions... So, I bought Spectrum flax mayo. Someday, I'll try the recipe again.

It's funny how those old habits just sneak in. Now, I need to learn how to satisfy them, but with better and healthier choices. I love the recipes in the FFP book, the cook book and the FF4L book.

So, for today, I'll get my house back in order and spend some time with the birds. Some slob came in here and messed up the place this past week!

    Morning Motivator!

I am the queen of procrastination - so nice to meet someone else who struggles with that character. Congrats on accomplishing the painting. That's too much of a task for me to think about now.

I'm with you on the "Up" a few pounds. Just got up and my right foot is swollen. Mine is water and is the pinched nerve in my lower back. Not to mention probably the hummus I had the other day. Oh and being so busy not a single supplement has passed my lips for 2 days. All those little things add up to my body not being happy.

But as you say, it will normal out. We just keep on going.

Thanks for the idea on the flax crackers. You are just a wealth of good recipes! Did my 'potatoes obrien' the other day. Oh so good Haven't tried the mayo yet, but if it flopped it could be how you added the oil. Needs to be in a thin stream as it gets incorporated. Is the spinach flat bread recipe in the cookbook? Scored that one at the thrift store the other day, but haven't had time to play.

Time for my LLC and start the day. Swap meet this morning and them home to do paperwork and taxes...

Takin' a short break... I am not sure why the flax mayo did not turn out. I have made regular mayo before and coconut oil mayo with great results...

The spinach flat-bread is in the Fat Flush for Life book. I don't see it here on the forum. I have an idea brewing in my head that includes the flat-bread. I will try it later and post it.

I have an accountant do my taxes because I work as a sub-contractor. I also work at home and use part of my home as a deduction. It all gets too complicated for my already complex mind. So, he filed an extension and will submit the forms next month. Unfortunately, I owe.

I send stuff to the accountant too - not that there's much to send, but will be good to write off what I can and be done for another year.

Of course 2012 is just around the corner, so really done for a few more months.

Hi Elisa! Congrats on being a Moderator again!

Been doing good. The weight is coming back down again and today I am at 239.2 (239.6 yesterday)! Gotta see 237 again, soon!
I have noticed lately, that I have had headaches. Kinda like a nuisance headache. It's there, but not a full blown "banger", but enough to make me feel lousy. Golly, am I detoxing again? I am sure the detoxing goes in phases as impurities get purged out.

I just realized, fresh cranberry season is will be here soon! O my, I love fresh made c-water! I always make it with a tea ball full of chopped cinnamon bark and a small slice of ginger.

Today I am going to try the Dijon Turkey Cutlets recipe only with chicken today. Sounds really good! I'll post my comments on it later. Now for more c-water and chores to do and meals to prepare. Got a busy week ahead with my regular job and I start my new job on Thursday! I am really excited about this! I can support myself and lifestyle on the one part time job, but the additional funds from this new job are a good thing! I can save for home improvement things, like new carpeting in the living room, and remodel the bathroom (I am still dreaming on that one). For now, I still have to paint the kitchen. That will happen in a few weeks.

    Have a good Monday!

Yea on being a LOOSER! Even a few ounces count. I figure I have to lose 2-4 ounces a day to lose my one to two pounds a week. It all counts.

Gotta try the cran with cinnamon and ginger. I planted cinnamon trees in the backyard. Someday I'll get to harvest my own cinnamon bark!

Love remodeling...we're gonna have to do pinterest and plan bathroom remodel. Not the the landlord wants to hear that, but it is coming

Did the pot luck yesterday - and see no real difference on the scale this am. So happy with that. Course ate chicken with long rice (cellophane noodles) and did have some potato salad. Avoided the cakes, sauces and pasta and rice. Phew!

Thanks for the reminder that the headaches can be detox...I've had one too - for weeks. Betcha that's what's up.

    Have a great day!

I had that Dijon Chicken Cutlets. It was good. Altho, I think the breading could have been a bit more spunky in flavor. I may try horseradish next time or cayenne... I used my George Foreman grill to cook them. Now I got leftovers for the week and make meals with them. O, like using the spinach flat-bread, chop up the chicken into strips and use flax mayo and onions, sprouted greens, some cucumber slices...

Took out some frozen c-berries and heated them up with cinnamon and ginger and made c-water. I ran out of the concentrate, so, this will be my drink for the next few days. I made enough for (2) 32oz jars, from 1 pound of c-berries. Boy, it's tasty good!

My flax-chia crackers will be my in-between snack. I made them with a small can of tomato paste (organic - Muir Glenn) and Italian seasonings with lots of garlic. I'm gonna knock people off their chairs tomorrow! hahahahaha I do have a natural breathe freshener I carry with me.

I wish this headache would go away! ! !
