    Default CLA-1000 & Flora-Key

In Fat Flush for Life, CLA-1000 & Flora-Key were recommended supplements. I did purchase them as well as the Smoothie Shakedown bundle. Can or should these supplements be incorporated into the 2 week SS protocol?

    Hi Janis,

Yes, you may take both if you like. Just a note on the CLA...Dr. Ann Louise originally intended CLA to be used in P3, as she didn't want to overwhelm people with too many supplements. However, after receiving quite a few inquiries about taking it earlier in the program, her thoughts were it would be ok if you had 50 or more pounds to lose.

That said, the decision is up to you.

Flora Key is an incredible probiotic and may be taken during all the programs...it's my all-time favorite supplement!

    Hope this helps...

What & when is the best way to take the Flora Key. It doesn't taste sweet to me. Why is that?

Hi Janis, You'll want to take the FloraKey on an empty stomach (optimally). So 15 mins before eating or two hours after. You can also put it into a smoothie.
I don't find it very sweet either.

    Janine,
Thanx for the info. I am battling a yeast infection. Should I consume more than 1 scoop of the FloraKey in a day?

Hi Janis, sorry to hear you're battling the yeast beast. I would take 1-3 scoops of Flora-Key daily, until your symptoms are completely gone, then maintain with 1 scoop daily on the regular If you can order the Y-C Cleanse, I highly recommend it. It's a homeopathic tincture that helps your body mount an immune response against yeast and candida, and together with the Flora-Key it's an unstoppable combo!

    Sue,
Thank you so much. Yes, I will order the Y-C right away. I was just reading Ann Louise's blog on it this morning. Would those 1-3 scoops be at one time or spread out over the day?

    Default Help!!!

Okay moderators or others in the know,
I now have and am ready to start the Y-C Cleanse. I've been taking 1 scoop of the Flora-Key in each of my two smoothies a day now for 28 days. It doesn't seem to have even touched my yeast infection. I was reading the bottle of Y-C and wondering if that is the therapeutic protocol? What would be your suggestions on how to use it to best deal with a stubborn case and how does the Flora-Key figure in? I'd like to start this morning as I'm sure it's hindering my weight loss, not to mention, it's down right annoying! Any and all comments would be appreciated.

    MOrning from Maui,

One thing I swear by to beat the yeasties is Pao d'arco. It's from the bark of a tree and available in capsules and tea. Take like 4 at a time for a few days until you feel the yeasties start to subside. The capsules can be used as a suppository if necessary (discovered when in the midst of the Alaskan tundra - 800 miles from any pharmacy).

Can't hurt to boost the YC Cleanse.

Good luck. There's nothing more aggravating than a yeast infection that won't go away!

    Question More HELP!

Also, can the colon cleanse kit be done at the same time or should I wait until the yeast is under control?
