Jai,
That sounds like a great career! How long did you have to go to school for that? I'm excited to be back in school, it's fun being around all the young people...they crack me upI had to have the last of my shots on Wed and I guess the Tdap really got me because I was pretty sick with hot and cold chills and aching yesterday. Today I'm back up to snuff and checked my weight, 6.5lbs lost so far! My hope is that I can end the Smoothie Shakedown <200, and I only have 1.5 to go...and 3 days. Livin' on the edge
if not, it will come soon enough in Phase 2.
I've always thought it would be fun to see Ann Louise, she's certainly changed the way I look at food. It's nice to know if we follow the plan we are doing something good for our bodies!
Take care!
Robin
Congrats RRK for the nice loss! Keep it up and keep us posted.
Made for More - Welcome! Where in WA are you from? I grew up in Kelso. Now in Maui.
I'm on the FF Classic plan. I've realized it doesn't matter what plan we're on - we all have the same goals.
You'll find my thread under the Fat Flush Challenges. Feel free to drop in and talk story. It's all about sticking with the plan - and having folks who are there to help us stay on track is priceless.

Thank you Michelle. I know everyone loses at their own pace. I just wish I was a fast loser and not just a loser. LOL
Robin, you know my pain! I think it would be nice to keep in touch for support throughout our journey. What do you think?
Mia
Robin,
Sounds like you're doing great losing. Glad you're feeling better after the shots. I bet you're glad you're done with those now.
I went to school for 1 year. It's a very intense certification course. There were other students in the class that said from a practical knowledge and use basis, that it was as productive and challenging as their 4 year degrees. It's very naturopathic in philosophy and Ann Louise spoke at our annual conference this last March. I absolutely love it!
I'm having a bit of difficulty incorporating the SS exercise into my days. Time is such a premium. Any ideas?
God Speed!

Wendy,
I'm on the Olympic Peninsula, on the Strait of Juan de Fuca, north west of Seattle.
How do you like Maui? How long have you been there? I know someone that's not far from Hilo on the big island.

Hey Mia keeping in touch sounds great! I'm moving over to FF Phase 2 now. So I'll wrap up my SS experience here and start one there.
I just had company for 3 days. Thankfully it was a good friend and we supported each other (she's on WW) so the challenges were minimal.
I'll look forward to hearing from you![]()
Hey Jai,
It's wonderful to love your career and not as common as it should be, so I'm always excited to hear success stories. I'm still a work in progress, I think I'm going to like being a nurse.
For exercise I usually walk. Right now I'm walking 1st thing in the morning, which is a nice way to start the day. I listen to books-on-tape (actually on iPod) and that makes the time move fast. When school starts I'll have to be open to change because I may have to leave home at 4:30am to get to school (yuck). I also enjoy yoga, it is a very nice workout and I've met some very nice people in class--some people like to do it alone but I work better in a group with a teacher...its non-competitive and very personal so no worries about what everyone else is doing, just focusing on my own practice and working at my own pace. Both of these take time, but you could certainly break up the your walking and instead of 45 mins @ one time, how about 15 mins 3 times a day? Organization is the key, like always having your walking shoes and a t shirt in your car just in case there is a beautiful park on your way to an appt.
Good luck, I know it can be a challenge! I'll weigh tomorrow and wrap up my SS experience and get on over to Phase 2...I'll come back and check up on you...you said you were going to do 4 weeks, how many do you have left? WoW, just noticed 8 lost! good job! Keep it up!
You live in a beautiful part of the world. Love Washington.
Maui is also beautiful, and the tropical climate are really playing a big part in my success as a Fat Flusher. I can grow a lot of my veggies and fruits. With the warm water for working out, I really can't lose!
Wendy,
I agree that Washington is beautiful, however I could do with a little more of your warm.
I'm still SS-ing. Today is day 15! Doesn't actually feel like I've been doing it that long. So far so good.
