Haven't sewed in like FOREVER - but the machines and things are all here and actually on a table.
I've kinda usurped a part of the landlords space - there's a huge enclosed 'porch' that's about 13x30.
It's used to store his inventory and a couple extra beds. I've added in a freezer - his old fridge and my sewing/craft stuff.
We'll see what he says when he arrives. But he only comes 1-2x a year, so no big deal. Might as well use the space.

Time to quit sitting here and motivate. Gotta make a to do list and get something done today.

    Happy Fat Flushing ladies!

    WendyA,
What an awesome problem to have, i.e. clothes being too big! I remember that feeling fondly from the past. I can't wait to have that problem again. Congrats!

Jai - you will have the problem again in the near future. It's such a nice problem to have!

Now my conundrum. I have two scales. The one in the bathroom weighs me 2-3 pounds less then the big fancy measure everything scale in the bedroom. The bathroom scale is the one I hauled all over the country (literally) to weigh my luggage on - and I know from all that travel that it weighs within 2 oz of the airport scales.

I'm kinda at the frustrating point where I want the scale in the bedroom to move so I can finally see 249. I haven't seen 249 officially for probably 2 decades. So when I see 248 in the bathroom and 250 in the bedroom - ARGHHHHH! Yes, that what I scream!

Ok, that's my rant. I'll just be patient. They will all move and they will all make me happy.

    Time to start my day.

I vote for giving away the scale in the bedroom- it's playing head games with you and that's just wrong.

I vote for challenging yourself by sending those scales into hiding for a few days!

Believe it or not - I don't weigh everyday anymore. The cran water has worked miracles and my 'noncurable' lymph edema is in hiding.
The big scale in the bedroom shows that I'm still holding more fluids in one leg, and I'm monitoring it and working to equalize it. It's a measurement of the damage my body is dealing with and necessary for other documentation reasons.

    That said...

Yesterday when I got in the water to workout, a huge, vibrant rainbow arched over the entire sky. I looked up at that rainbow and said, "Well, you are my sign that 249 is on it's way."

Yep. Drum roll! Break out the cymbals and horns and confetti!

Hello 249! It's so amazing to see you! I believe it's been over 2 decades since I've seen you! Wow! Long time no see!
That makes 21 pounds off my body. 7 cans of Crisco melted and flushed away. 49 pounds to my original goal. 99 pounds to the next goal.

The water workouts are toning and defining my muscles. I can now see the shape of my legs. Don't get me wrong - there is at least 4+ "cans of Crisco" to lose off each thigh, but for the first time I can see and feel the toned muscle under all that fat.

I used to think it was cool that my fat was so 'firm' it wouldn't jiggle. Turns out that was from my muscles being frozen so tight nothing moved right. Now I do jiggle. In fact the fat on my thighs is just hanging from the muscle underneath. Pretty disgusting to look at. Such a motivator to keep going!

Working of getting all my fluids in today and sticking firmly to my plan. Gotta get all my supplements in and get back in the power groove. This is my body. This is my future. This is my wellness.

    Let it be so.

I love the cans of crisco visual! If that's not motivating, I don't know what is!
