Good Morning Janine. Thanks for stopping by. Yes, the coconut milk is a huge process and really does take a team to get it done. But it's a fun way to meet new folks while getting great fresh coconut milk for my continued fat flushing. Right now I kefir the water for my smoothies, and am saving the fats for later.

Had beets last night for my starch. My man makes the best beet salad - steam your beets and dice. Toss with minced onion, garlic, oil and vinegar and chill. Quite a flavor punch and oh so satisfying on the tongue.

Down a few more inches this morning. Would love to see the scale move again soon, but it will all come in due time. Just enjoying my new body

Have to report mom's progress. Just by not eating sugar/bread or coffee for 2 weeks, she's down 9.5 pounds today. She is going home to start fat flushing with p1. I think she'll be totally successful. She's thrilled.

    Wow!
That's great to hear how your healthy habits have helped you mom! Wish I could stop by more often for motivation. You guys rock!
I'm on my fast/miracle juice day today and so far so good.
I'm hoping that if this works well for me my mom will try it too. She is allergic to nuts as well as artificial sweetners and gets really bad headaches from msg and sulfites so this would be perfect for her since so many diets use artificial sweetners and such.
Will check back in with you guys tomorrow. I only go on the computer when I'm at work. I'm on it so much at work I just can't stand to go on the computer at home for anything!
    Have a great night

This is most excellent that your mom is catching the "FFP" bug! Almost 10 pounds is totally awesome! How many inches did she loose?
Beets? I love beets! I'll have to remember this when I get to P2 of FFP.

Michele - so nice of you to stop by. Tell your mom that there is a new sweetener coming - will be on the shelf under Pure Fruit. It's made from Monk Fruit and processed organically. It will be one I'm sure she can use. I don't like artificial anything, so am really getting used to 'tart' - like my cran water. As for the rest, FFing is the way to eat to keep our bodies happy.

Wendy - Mom definitely lost inches. She's taking home all the clothes I just took out of my closet. Even though she weighs less then me, size wise, she fits the clothes I just shed just right. Great to get rid of them on my side, and fun that she's taking home a new wardrobe in a new size.

We are both hoping we can help my daughter start flushing. It took me 50 years to get to this size. My daughter is 24 and larger by at least 50 pounds. Hoping this will motivate her to adopt a lifestyle of FFing and health.

Off to grate radishes! One of our radishes is over 15" long, so that will make a righteous pile of hash browns. And I love hash browns! Oh yummy! Big hugs Wendy

OMG! My post from this morning didn't post!!!

    So...drum roll please!

So long, farewell to 259! HELLO 258! You just snuck in here so quiet I had to step on the scale twice to make sure you were really here! So very nice to see you. Can't believe you came to play so easily. I know you won't be here long, but hope you enjoy your last visit to this body.

Busy day - meetings and on the go all day. Took my cran, water, smoothies, eggs and am now home for dinner. Phew! No pizza for me at the restaurant that was totally full of the warm bread smell. Armed with my fresh loss today, it was easy to stick to being a LOOSER!

Lovin' it! Thanks to my team for helping me go one more pound.

(PS If you are reading this, you are part of the team. Drop in and talk story sometime. We're all here for you too.)

So getting into this lifestyle. We're going to friends for dinner tonight. My partner already told them what's on the menu (lots of veggies, we're bringing the beef) and they are preparing with no illegal ingredients. How nice that they care enough to make sure everything on the table is something I can eat. Love my friends!

Just amazed that I've lost the equivalent of 4 cans of Crisco off my body. My body that is actually developing a waist again. I know I have a long journey on this path, but I'm so thrilled that this has been, and will continue to be, so successful. Before my mom left she said that she believes this time I will accomplish my goals and take off all my excess weight. I think so too. Never before could I contemplate a 100+ pound loss with any sense of accomplishment. Now I can see it. It's way down the road - but it's there. It gets closer with every day. Two years from now - September 1, 2014, I should be missing at least 100 pounds. Imagine being a smoking' hot mama in my 50's! Love the thought of that

Got my LLC in. Time for a little TLC for the knee and then another busy day.

Celebrate today. It's another day on our way to being vibrant, healthy and strong.

Congrats!!! Sounds like you are so prepared for your travels and so nice of your friends to cook for you! I don't really think that the food is all that different (minus the starches). Plenty to get filled up on!
That's funny that your mom lives in Kelso! I know exactly where that is. I actually live in Hillsboro and work in Portland. The MAX/TriMet system is a lifesaver.
Will definitly tell my mom about that sweetner. She can do the stevia so she could do this program if she wanted.
I also like the tart of the cran water. My bf on the other hand dosen't. Says it makes his mouth feel dry. Ha ha! He's already talking about getting back to a "regular" diet so soon I'll have to stick to it alone. That's ok though. He dosen't need to lose weight even though he's lost almost 10lbs (so not fair) or I should say that now he doesn't need to lose any weight. At least he wants to go back to the gym now which will be a plus for me!
Have a great trip and visit with your family and friends! Portland weather is cooperating at the moment so that's a plus for you! Although probably feels chilly to you

    Aloha Gang!

Hi Michele - I grew up in Kelso and have been to Hillsboro many times. I live in Maui now. Only my mom had to leave and go back to the mainland.

Interesting day yesterday. Tues I packed my lunch, etc, tossed in the iPad and went to a meeting. Carrying that lunch bag on my shoulder killed me. Felt like major pulled muscles - couldn't even use my right hand to put the keys in the ignition. So my massage therapist came yesterday to work on me. Turns out it was part muscle - but major lymph system backup! Just saw her on Sunday, so this was how much junk my body detoxed in 2 days! The pinch in the shoulder shut down a major lymph drain and everything backed up! Just goes to show that what we are doing is the right thing to do - and that we have to keep our lymph flowing.

Last night went to dinner at our friends. Delicious. Did have some quinoa salad, got to taste my first goats milk, and had a bite of almost legal bread (had yeast, but everything else was legal) with some coconut oil drizzled on it. Wonderful food with good friends. Going to get some squash from them for some variety in my FFing.
