I lost about 6 or maybe 6.5 after one week.
BUT the first day of the flush, was day 2 of my period... and I lost FIVE pounds, the first day. So, most of that was probably from my period... or at least 3 pounds of it.
So, I only really lost maybe 3 pounds.... Three pounds! After all that deprivation, is a bit disappointing.
I was very good the first few days, doing all exactly. Then 3rd night, had the "fishbone crisis" where I had to eat a bunch of bread to get a stuck fishbone out of my throat. The following night, the throat still hurt and 2 nights later, I "cheated" and had wine while out at a show.
Would I have lost 9 or 10 if all had gone perfectly?
I see others posting they have lost that much the first week, with about the same total weight loss goals as mine.
I mean, I shouldn't be disappointed normally, with 3 pound loss in one week - but considering this is supposed to be the big first 2 week flush, I wish I'd lost more to make a bigger dent (have about 40 total to lose). I was hoping to lose like 15 in the first two weeks, leaving 25 for the Phase 2 slower weight loss... and getting that 15 off would make exercise more possible, too, as I have a few injuries and weight bearing exercise is difficult with all the weight!
3 pounds just doesn't seem right for such a restrictive diet, even with a couple slips.
Anyway - any ideas welcome. Do I just extend the Phase 1 for a few extra days to make up for the blips?
