Question green leafy, sprouts - can do detox?

Hi! I am on my 7th day of the prequel.

I have had a very hard time eating the green leafy's listed - what are some other options? Is spinach & romaine just as good? Any other suggestions?

If I haven't exactly been eating the green leafy's the past few days can I still do the detox fast tomorrow?

The 'shopping list' had 3 cups of sprouts listed to stock up on. I don't see anywhere in the diet when I am suppose to be eating that? Is that a prequel, sequel, suggestion or what?

Is distilled water just as good as filtered or purified?

If the sprouts are in the shopping list, go ahead with them The dark spicy and bitter greens all have amazing detox benefits, but if you can't stomach them just eat as much of the others as you can. Distilled water has all the minerals removed, and actually has the tendency to strip your body of trace minerals because of water's polarity. Filtered is the way to go.

    Hi CG770!

Sprouts are incredibly high in enzymes and are therefore one of the Fast Track mainstays. Go to p. 146 of your book to review the info, and feel free to add them to your salads.

When I started eating sprouts on a regular basis I found I had more energy and just felt more...
awake, throughout the day! I ended up buying some sprouting jars and a variety of seeds so I can have sprouts any time I want, for very little money.

Based on the date of your post, you should have had your fast day yesterday – how did it go?

Make sure you follow the Sequel to a T to seal in the benefits; and if you are having trouble with those greens, cook them in a little water with a pinch of salt then season them with olive oil and garlic (2 birds with one stone!), they are pretty good! And when they are cooked you only need to eat 1/2 cup, which really isn't much.

I hope you are doing well! Pop by if you need more help.
