Hello all you wonderful FFers new and -ehm!- experienced

My name is Elisa – some of you know me (as either Elisa, or ElyMom, or "that girl who moves a lot and never shuts up"), others don't. Looking forward to getting acquainted, or re-acquainted, with all of you!

I have been away for a while, and as it happens, I have gained weight in the process

5 years ago, I was a devout Fat Flusher. I had followed FF during my second pregnancy, and felt pretty great. I had managed to shed all the baby weight without even really trying, and was successfully nursing my new baby girl, taking care of my daughter and husband and just generally doing fabulous.

Then my hubby got a job offer overseas, in Stamford, CT. Being a nomad at heart, I only had to do a little research before I said "Heck YEAH!" and so we went. The move took ages. Seriously, ages. We lived in several different places for brief periods before settling in a two-family home in Harrison, NY. The first year was brutal. Baby Stella wasn't sleeping, my husband was traveling all the time, my oldest was having trouble adjusting to the new school. My weight started going up, and my mood wasn't particularly good. Luckily things started going better, and the following 2-something years were nice – the last year was amazing! Being able to get into Manhattan in just 25 minutes meant we enjoyed all the best that the city had to offer, and did so often (sigh, I so miss the workouts in Central Park and the day at the Met!) So of course I didn't want to leave, but after 3 years we came back to Switzerland. Which is where my moods worsened once again and my weight shot waaay up.

That was almost 3 years ago. I have now pretty much settled in my life in Zurich (though I wouldn't mind moving again at some point) and now that my "baby" has turned 6 and is going to start in 1st grade in August, it's like I have woken up and realized that hey, it's high time I started prioritizing myself for a change!

So here I am. I'm on pre-flush, started working out to Tracy Anderson, who is basically like an Energizer bunny with killer instincts and... that's it. I am just back. Fat Flush is the only thing that ever worked for me, and I can't believe I have been away for so long!

So... that's that. Upwards and onwards, as they say

For those of you that don't know Elisa, she was a FANTASTIC Forum Moderator a few years back. She is young and vibrant and always kept us going, going, going when she was with us!

I hope everyone will give her a warm WELCOME BACK!
