    I think house cleaning totally counts as exercise

    I did my 30-minute mat workout today, but skipped cardio and instead opted for a nice walk with a friend and the girls. Got to the car just before it started raining - I think Switzerland is having trouble in its season recognition software, 'cause I don't know what this is, but it sure ain't summer! Come on, this island girl needs sun!

    Linda – the weather couldn't be this horrible at your end, could it?

    I'll have to dig out a chart, I think you burn close to 300 calories in a 3 hr cleaning session (stopping to watch foodtv, aside, LOL).

    Is it usually warm in Switzerland in the summer then? Never been but only visualize a lot of snow covered mountains.


    Friday got in a 45 min walk
    Sunday- 43 minutes of yoga

    So! How close did you come to making your goal? I fell short on a yoga day but did get all the cardio in, Yay!

    It's a new week ladies- let's get movvvingg!

    I hope everyone had a good weekend! Mine was great- got in a good bike ride on Saturday on my way down to the beach. I ran into a friend there and we swam a couple miles together! It was so so so nice. Yesterday I spent floating the river, complete with a lot of swimming across the current and rope swinging, so I'd say I got a fair work out! At least that's what my arms are telling me LOL.
    I need to recover a little bit today, but I hope to either do yoga or go for a short bike ride, and swim of course... if it warms up a bit here!

    The last 4 days have flown by. I walked 30-45 min Thurs and Friday. Saturday, yoga class. Sunday I hiked down and up the hill to Hayden Lake and did my NIA dance class.

    I have quite similar routine to this.Tues: leg lifts with ankle weights, gentle rebounding..Wed: upper body at gym..Thurs: leg lifts with ankle weights, gentle rebounding..Fri: upper body at gym..
