Ahhh, now I remember. Starting the smoothie shakedown is similar in many ways to starting the fat flush diet. So my main issue right now is not cravings, but the "icky" feeling, especially the headache. Since I gave my FFD book to a friend many moons ago, just wondering if anyone can recommend anything to counter the "sick" feeling I always get the first few days. If I remember correctly, shouldn't be taking any analgesics, such as aspirin, tylenol, etc... Just wondering if there are any remedies that keep me in compliance...? Thanks!!
The recommended remedy is magnesium - anywhere from 400 - 1200 mg as suits your needs. Just be reminded that as a muscle relaxant, magnesium relaxes the intestines as well, so start with a low dose and work up to your tolerance level.
If you've never used magnesium before, you can find it in drug, grocery and health food stores.
Good luck with your first day!

Oh and Tom...do make sure you are toting your Cranwater or and/or plain water with you throughout your busy day. As we both know, that Florida sun can be brutal and before you know it, you can feel "ikky" from dehydration.
Hope you feel better tomorrow!

Thanks for the replies. I made it through the first day fine. I didn't get a chance to check the forums before now, but I'll pick up some magnesium for use today. It was a mental battle, both with the adjustments to my eating and the physical discomfort, but I'm happy to say I made it! I'm very encouraged because while I do remember the discomfort that occurs at the beginning of the plan, I also remember how energetic and alert I felt after breaking through those first few days. Thanks for the advice! And, yes, it gets God-awful hot here in the Sunshine State, but to be honest, I'm feeling lucky to be here, as opposed to a great rest of the country which is much hotter. Once again, thank you, and I'll see you on the forums!!
