Hi everyone! I started Smoothie Shakedown on Monday and so far so good! I'm also taking several supplements: FF Weight Loss, FF Vitamin, GLA and CLA. I'm also do Y-C Cleanse.
I have read the FF book and the smoothie shakedown booklet, but have a few questions.
When I get up I have 8oz Cranwater, then I have the Y-C Cleanse and then the HLW just a minute or two later. Is that ok or do I need to change the order of anything? I know the cranberry and lemon are not fruits and are ok, but I don't know if taking all 3 close together is bad since they are all supposed to get your system going. (NOTE: I do just cranwater not LLC since I put my flax in the smoothie per smoothie shakedown).
I also take my perscription meds (2) w/ water shortly after the Y-C Cleanse. Is it ok to take them so close to the YC cleanse? I know you need to wait after the flax seeds, which I do since those are in my smoothie, but not sure about YC.
Some old posts in teh forum mention YC formula A or B. Online there was only one option. Is there only 1 option now? If not, how do I know which I have since it isn't listed?
I usually get a little dizzy after the YC but feel better by lunch. I know this is the detox and possibly because it's a hefty dose for my system. My question is: if I'm ok dealing with this, is it ok? Or is something bad happening and my body is asking me to cut the dose? I also feel my hair is falling out a little...
Sometimes I have a snack mid morning and sometimes I don't - same for the afternoon. Is that ok? If I'm not hungry I don't make myself eat, but should I to keep metabolism up or something? I am also a little worried about not meeting 1200 calories and sending my system into starvation mode, but if I'm not hungry should I really *make* myself eat?
Sometimes my lunch smoothie is 4 hours after breackfast. Sometimes 3.5 and sometimes 5. Does I need to be having my meals as close to 4 hours as I can or does it not really matter?
Should I be drinking the cranwater 20 min before lunch and dinner just like on the FF plan? I'm drinking 64oz per day, but was just spreading it throughout the day in no particular order! Why is it that you drink it 20 min before meals? (I know this is probably in my book, so feel free to point me to the page if you can't post it here. It's just a lot of info I read all at once and I can't remember it all!)
I also drink a ton of regular water throughout the day, like 120+ oz on top of my smoothies and cranwater. This is ok, right?
I feel like I don't eat many spices since I'm just doing the smoothies and only put spices on my dinner. Is that ok or do I need to try to eat a bunch of them since they also have thermogenic and diuretic benefits?
