    Default Veggie Marinade

    (Makes 3-4 servings)

2 1/2 oz apple cider vinegar
1 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
    1 1/2 oz Bragg's amino acids
1 Tablespoon finely chopped onions (more or less as desired)
    Cayenne pepper to taste
    Stevia to taste

Mix all ingredients together and store in glass container in refrigerator.

Use whole cucumber sliced/diced with 1/4 - 1/3 of above recipe.
    (I like the Chop Wizard)
Marinade veggie for at least 15 minutes.

Can also use zucchini and jicama.

    Hi Wendy!

    YUM!!

One note: Bragg's aminos are not FF Friendly...do you have any thoughts as to what we might substitute for them?

    Thanks for sharing!

Golly - I was not aware that Amino acids was not allowed. Stinkers! I really enjoy a little spritz every do often on my foods or burgers.
Not sure what could be substituted... Any suggestions? Or maybe delete this recipe?

Hmmm... Not the same flavor for sure, but maybe reduced sodium beef broth? (if you were using it as a cooking marinade, but not for fresh veggies) In P3, you can use reduced sodium tamari or maybe some miso paste.

For a fresh veggie marinade , I like to use apple cider vinegar, lemon juice and flax oil, sometimes also with Stevia and cayenne. What really punches them up is adding in a handful of fresh chopped cilantro and parsley. Totally yummy! So I'm thinking just eliminate the Bragg's Aminos and your veggies will still be delish.
