    Cool Love My "Blender Bottle!"

Can't imagine travelling this summer without your beloved smoothies?

Or looking for an easier way to tote your smoothies to work? T

Then taking along a Blender Bottle is a MUST! It has this cool stainless steel circular whisk that fits inside the bottle...
mixes up yummy smoothies in a flash!

I used mine every day when I was away recently and absolutely adore it! Today I made a Raspberry Truffle Smoothie with 1/3 cup fresh raspberries (frozen are too hard to breakdown) and FF Chocolate Whey. Divine!

So who already has one and loves it???

I am in need of a new "shaker" bottle. This looks interesting. It even comes in PURPLE! :0) (cool beans!)
This mixes even fresh fruit? How about cherries? Thanks Linda, for the suggestion!

    Hi Wendy,

Truthfully, I don't think the circular whisk can break up cherries due to the skin. I would say maybe do a quick puree in a food processor first. I'm still experimenting, but I think what I'll do is coarsely puree a few kinds of fruits to keep in the fridge so I can just pop them into my shake. I'm kinda stuck on using about 1/3 cup of raspberries...because I love the taste of the pulp and it lets me save the rest of my fruit for later!

if you get one, let me know what you come up with!

I've used one for a while and love it. I figured out a cool way to take a shake with me and have it "cool" when I didn't have the luxury of a fridge and don't have space for a cooler and cold packs for the day, specifically I use it when I'm hiking. I take my fruit and puree it to the desired texture in the blender and freeze it in the larger style ice cube trays which are about 1/4 cup. When its time to go I put a four of those in the bottle and take the BP in a baggie and a water bottle (full of cran-water of course) and pack and go. By the time I get to when I'm ready for a shake the "ice cubes" are thawed perfectly and I toss in the BP and cran-water and shake it up. Loves it!!

    BRILLIANT Chris!!!!

I am going to do the same this weekend!

Which fruits do you like to puree?

I love pears and raspberries. I find the fruits puree better if you add a little water or Cranwater to them. Raspberries will still be a little pulpy, but just enough so you can drink them with your shake.

I'm also thinking about trying a P3 shake with Greek yogurt...

Oh I forgot...a few weeks ago I made a Pumpkin Pie Shake with 1/2 cup canned organic pumpkin, FF Vanilla Whey Protein, 1/2 cup Cranwater, cinnamon and ginger. YUM YUM!!!

Peaches and apricots sound wonderful. I made a fresh pear smoothie yesterday, with a shake of cinnamon. It was amazing. You want to save bananas to use after you meet your goal and are in phase 3 of the Fat Flush plan.

I just bought (2) Blender Bottles, the 20oz size. Way Cool!
It is sturdy BPA free plastic with an even sturdier screw top. The pour spout is wonderful, cuz the cap does not come down and hit you in the nose when you drink from the bottle. Another plus! The springy blender ball does a great job of mixing up protein powder. Even when you swirl the cup for extra blending.

What I like the best about this blender bottle, it the ease of opening (unscrewing) the top. I have arthritis in my left hand index finger. This causes problems for me when I open jars or bottles. But, with this blender bottle, the way it's designed, I can screw and unscrew the top on securely without hurting my hand and grumbling at it!

Thank you Linda for telling me about this nifty little kitchen helper!

O, BTW, I picked up (2) purple ones! Purple is my favorite color!
