Default Need advice Classic fat flush or Fat flush for life?

I tried to start the calssic fat flush, but thanks to my family I haven't been successful to follow it. 2 main problems besides my family.
1 Is that everyday has a recipe involving seafood as protein.
2 Lots of cooking. Lunch and dinner are a lot for me.

I check the fat flush for life and saw that uses the dinner of the previous day for the next day lunch.
I check the book and has the pre-fat flush diet, which is different from phase 1 of FFP.

I want to do the FFFL instead of the FFP because I believe is more adequate to feed also my little ones.
Should I start with the pre-fat flush or should I initiate againg with phase 1. I'm confuse and need help.

Hi there, FFFL was created for folks like you who need/want more options. I would start with the preflush, as suggested then move into Spring.

    Hi there,

I agree with Janine...plus FF4L has lots of really great recipes that are family friendly.

Good luck and do keep us posted with how things are going, k?

I got the FFFL and the FFP books recently. I had just finished the FTDD...which book should I start with?

    Hi Susan!

Well done on completing the FTDD!

FFP and FF4L are both awesome, just slightly different in their execution.

If you want to keep your weight/inch loss going at a good pace, I'd move on to Fat Flush Phase 2 (FFP) but keep FF4L handy for time when you have to eat out and such – Chapter 8 of the FFP book has lots of helpful suggestions, but FF4L has even more options.

If however your priority is to create a healthier but more manageable lifestyle and/or you are fairly close to your goal weight, I would go on FF4L, select the Summer Fat Flush diet (you may skip the Summer detox, since you just finished the FTDD!) and progress on your health and weight loss journey with a more flexible (but still really effective) plan. If you choose this option, your next detox will be some time in the Fall.

Let us know what you pick, we are the curious sort! (And by we, I of course mean me. I am of the curious sort.)

    Hi Susan,

    Welcome to the Forum!

Great question! Having worked extensively on the recipes and menus for FF4L with Dr. Ann Louise, (as well as most of her other books) I echo what my friend Elisa recommends 100%!!!

I am also the curious type...so do let us know what you decide, k? Also, please keep asking questions...we love to help!!

    Hey Susan!
Welcome to Fat Flush and to this fantastic forum!!

I just want to echo Elisa and Sue's recommendations! We frequently will advise newbies to begin with the FFP in order to better understand/assimilate ALG's principles and to learn how to embrace the FF lifestyle during and after weight-loss.

And please do keep posting let us know what you decide... that way we can continue to encourage you on your way to a new you!

Hi! I'm with you - I've done the FFP in the past - I saw some results but think that my mindset was in the wrong place. I was looking for a quick fix. FFFL has been helping me continue steady weightloss but MORE importantly, it is still teaching me the benefits of a healthy lifestlye. My favorite part of all the Fat Flush programs is the knowledge I gain about what I put into my body and how it is helping (or hurting) my weight loss goals!
