    Hi!

I tried FF several years back. I didn't have a lot of weight to loose but wanted to slim down and get healthy. I was very successful. So much so that friends were asking me what I was doing and asking me what was that red drink I was always carring around. LOL they thought cran-water was strange, but the were buying the FF book.

Well the last 4 years I've started menopause and I let a thyroid issue go untreated for a year. So I've had a total weight gain of 30 pounds. After starting on thyroid med, I began bio-identical HRT. Everything is in balance and I've stopped gaining weight. Yea! Now I'm beginning FF P1. Weight loss is much more difficult now. I haven't been able to loose, only gain. But this is my first attempt at FF since this ordeal began. I have the FF supplements and I'm on day 5.

I still have some morning headaches and I crave my diet soda. But I'm sticking to it. One day at a time I'll make the right choices.

So, do you really have more weight loss success in Phase 2?

    Aloha Gang!
I'm wondering who, if anyone, is around this thread. How's the flushing going?
Ready for a new partner to go the next leg with? I've got to lose at least 70 pounds (64 now) and
it wouldn't hurt if I did 100-130. But first steps first. I need new knees. They won't do the surgery
until I'm 200 lbs. I'm hoping that by 200 lbs, my knees will feel good enough that I don't need the surgery
for a long time. After all, I'm going to take 140 lbs off my knees...that's a lot of weight! They should be jumping with joy
    by then!

Anyway, wanted to say Aloha and connect with some folks.

    Wendy

    Wendy!!

I am so happy you resurrected this thread! I bet you'll find some FF buddies who would love to share your journey with you! Being summer, it's a bit quieter around here than usual, but I'm hoping you'll get some responses!

    Aloha Linda,

Looking forward to meeting some of the gang. I'm also looking forward to the process of making this a way of life. Very excited to see that P3 is totally livable for me, and P2 is really not that difficult.

Going to get spelt flour tomorrow and experiment with my own unleavened bread. Already have the assorted seeds and oats on hand to make this one nutrient dense bread. Next up with be a sweet potato flat bread. Stay tuned to the results of the experiments!

Still hoping someone shows up to play in this thread

Thrilled that those numbers between my toes shifted a bit today, even after a long physically painful day/night with drugs in my system.
Loving that I can see this journey as doing what is right for my body instead of what I can/can't eat. The refocus makes it easy to get through my day with minimal challenges.

    Wendy!

Sometimes you just have to wait for "players"!

Congratulations on your weight loss following the "painful" time. It may be a long time waiting for it, but it's sure worth it!!

In response to one of your other posts, Wendy, my roommate was on antidepressants for over a year, and when she stopped taking them, she lost 13 pounds in a week! I got her on Fat Flush and now she is a trim and petite 125 pounds!! Down from over 200! I'm so proud of her- it's amazing

Suerra - thanks for the positive note. I'm working closely with the Dr's and know I won't be on them forever...and starting to deal with my physical challenges in a healthy FF way is making a huge emotional difference. Thinking it won't be much longer before I'll be off them completely.
