Hi Sammy! Thanks for visiting my blog! Great job on the weight loss!!

Terri ~ the spring sure has brought on a growth explosion with the 80's and now the cool rains! BTW, I live about 30 mi NW of you!

So far, I have been sticking pretty good with FF.

Had the PET scan done and that went well. I get my results next Thurs when I go to the ENT Dr.

Been really busy with work ~ I like that!
Yesterday, I had my tooth finished up (root canal) and then the teeth cleaned.

Took one of my birds, Bandit to the vet for a check up this morning. She has a kidney disease. The check up went well for her, as her kidney is showing some improvement. Her calcium was high, but that is a hormonal thing right now. Spring = love = happy!

Two of the other birds have started a family. SnoBall has laid 5 eggs so far. I think there is another egg on the way! I guess the first baby may hatch in about 10 days! This will be the parents second clutch.

I slipped up once and went to El Famous Burrito for one of their football sized steak burrito. Got it back to the office and opened up the whole beef burrito on a plate and tossed the flour wrap. This was a huge mound of beef, onions, some lettuce and a little cheese. That filled me up!

So, continuing forward on FF4L spring, I am enjoying the wider selection of good foods!

I refuse to be a slave to the scale god. So I put the scale in the bedroom closet and will wait for a few weeks. I just gotta get in the groove of eating right, eating the FF way - for life! (I'm getting there!)

Congratulations on putting the scale away. By doing this, you can now focus on eating good healthy foods for the purpose of improving your health. The wonderful side effect of doing this is weight loss.

It's getting easier and easier to stick with FF P1.
Those fudgecicles really help! This time, I made them with Jay Robb's Dreamsicle powder. O my golly - almost like having a REAL dreamsicle!

Last night I had muscle cramping in my legs. So, before bed, I drank some Natural Calm Magnesium. This helped. So, today, I added 400mg of potassium to my supplements.

Don't remember is I posted this earlier, but I am doing a candida cleanse too. This evening, I may do a foot bath detox.

Been busy around the house cleaning. Today I have already steam cleaned the living room carpet. WOW, what a workout!

It's nice and sunny out and it's 65 degrees ~ perfect weather!

    Tomorrow I go to work!

Have a great Fat Flushing Day!

After doing FF for a week and then-some, I have not lost any weight or inches! I feel my tired liver and hormonal imbalance is causing this to happen. However, the change in daily diet is easier to accept, with the proteins, shakes and veggies. Not a fan of fruit, but, they do get added in the smoothies. Chia seeds are becoming a "garnish" for all my foods. I sprinkle those little gems on and in almost everything. One drawback with them... gotta do a "teeth check" after eating them. Don't wanna smile and show off little black dots all over my pearly whites! Sorta like spinach stuck inbetween the teeth!

I plan to go in in a few weeks for blood work to see where I am at...

Also, I will be doing a powerful liver/gallbladder detox/cleansing that uses all organic and wild harvested herbs, roots and flowers (tea) with juicing and lots of raw veggies. This program is thru a herbal doctor and lasts for 5 days. Then I will break for two days and then do a kidney/bladder cleanse.

In the meantime, I have little baby cockatiels hatching! So far, 4 have hatched and waiting for the last one to come into the world!

    Hi Wendy! Love the name!
After doing the smoothie shakedown and FF, my weight losses were (and still are) pathetically slooooooooooow. I get discouaged easily.
I have recently done a modified version of the Shakedown in part to having a tonsillectomy done.
I have lost 7 pounds and still holding. In less than a week, I will be on SS for a week. I hope to be on it 100%. Right now, the cranberry water burns my throat, as with lemonade. In a few weeks, I will be seeing my general Dr and want to get complete blood work, thyriod T3 & T4, liver enzymes, etc and also, if they do a complete saliva hormone test. I know postmenapause has not been kind to my midsection.

Once I can get all this in some balance, I know the weight will just melt off and I will feel better. Until then, I am in the Smoothie Shake down section. Thank you for stopping by!

    Aloha Wendy,

Nice to hear from you. Not nice to hear that menopause plays havoc with us. I'm just starting that journey.

Just gonna hold some positive space for you to find your balance point and come back and play

    The other Wendy
