    Default Type O blood

I have type O blood, we should not eat dairy. I try to, but it really isn't good for me. What should I do when I get to phase 3 of the fat flish plan?

    Hi Deborah!

    Welcome to the Forum!

Great question... I am also Type O and eat very little dairy. Not just because of my blood type, but also because it "doesn't do my body good," especially in the sinus and respiratory departments! I rarely any type of cheese, but I do find I can handle plain Greek yogurt 1-2 times/week. I also seem to do ok with plain kefir.

In Phase 3, it is not mandatory to add back dairy of any kind if you don't want to. Plenty of people cannot tolerate dairy for many reasons. Some have sensitivities, others have strong allergies. There are plenty of other foods to experiment with in P3. Once you get there, look through the lists and slowly integrate into your diet the foods that strike your fancy.

    Hope this helps!

I'm in the same situation as Linda, also being an O blood type. I also eat Greek yogurt. It's always good to customize your foods with your blood type, if you wish.

Without infringing on any copyright laws, nutrition experts, what are some basic rules of thumb regarding blood type and food sensitivities/reactions?
