Thanks for the recommendation for Baked Chicken and Artichoke Casserole. Now I know what we're having for dinner .

My two most favorite FF recipes are from the original FFP program book, and are P1-friendly . #1, hands-down, is Chicken-and-Cabbage Supreme (FFP, p. 146). So good! I always double the recipe, so there are plenty of leftovers. It reheats well. #2 favorite is Gingered Shrimp and Snow Pea Soup (FFP, p. 142). If using parsley, I'll add lemon wedges; if I have fresh cilantro, then I'll use lime wedges instead.

    Hi fadedblue!

I love BOTH of these recipes too...been making them ever since I started Fat Flushing over 10 years ago!

Do you have the FF Cookbook? Lots of goodies in that book too!

Also, Fat Flush for Life has bunches of amazing recipes, many which can be used with Classic Fat Flush.

    ENJOY!!

    Cool

    hi Linda,

Yes, I have the Fat Flush Cookbook, and enjoyed many of the recipes. There are pages with food stains, splotches and little notes jotted in the margins to prove it LOL!! Some of these recipes are well on their way to becoming favorites, such as the above-recommended Chicken and Artichoke Casserole which we had for dinner last night. I'm proud to say that page 74 now has a tomato stain and a note to self that this one is a keeper

The Turkey and Okra Casserole, on p. 96 sounds really yummy. It's next on my must-try list .. I've added ground turkey and okra to my shopping list for the coming week.

    Hi Anne,

One sign of a GREAT cookbook is definitely food stained pages!

Having worked closely with Dr. Ann Louise on most of her books that have recipes, I can tell you that there are LOADS of goodies just waiting for you to explore!

Keep posting recipe reviews...we love 'em!!

    This isn't really a recipe, but a great 'ah-ha'...

While heating up the peaches so I could pit/slip the skins one day, I left them too long in the water.
By the time I finished processing them, I had this beautiful nectar - by the gallons! I diluted it and started drinking it.
Found out very quickly that peaches are a diuretic.

It's a nice taste treat if you have an opportunity to create some.

    Cool Nom nom nom ....

Okay so ... Turkey and Okra Casserole (p 96 in the FF Cookbook) has been officially designated a favorite by me and DH.

I must confess that I made a few changes. While chopping onions and green peppers, I figured let's chop some garlic too. Also, I didn't use a food processor to finely chop things; I just used my best chef's knife and chopped everything somewhat coarsely. Didn't have any tomato sauce, so I used 3 oz of no-salt-added tomato paste instead. Otherwise, prepared as per recipe.

Mmmmmmm ... so good! I loved it, but DH had never eaten okra before. He kinda poked at it with his fork at first, but once he tried a few bites, he loved it too. I've been asked to make this again
