Ladies... so wonderful to read your posts from the holiday weekend.... I was smiling from ear to ear and so proud of all of you.

I hadn't seen one of my DD's in a while and also received much of the same... how "young I looked" and how "bright and clear my skin was"! I too was on cloud nine all weekend and able to stay FF true. The dishes I made for all of my guests and family didn't even smell good to me, so it was easy to do what I know now keeps me feeling my best.

I'm not weighing or measuring myself but love seeing the changes in my skin and hair... just keeps getting better.

Fran - I so agree with you! And there is no wiser investment than our health and well-being!

Kathi - How great is that? In addition to being able to see your DD, she noticed - and complimented you on - the wonderful changes in you? As much as I knew I was feeling so good "on the inside", I hadn't realized that they were so evident on the outside! We all were fully entitled too lounge on cloud nine for a while, don't you think?

Hi Fran (and everyone!) I can't stress enough the Importance of Correct Supplementation to help support our best efforts of weight loss; but more importantly, for on-going maintenence! So many, like you, found the "2 week plan" and not knowing where to go from there, stopped cold in their tracks, thus perpetuating the yo-yo diet syndrome... It's quite a leap of faith to immerse oneself in a Lifetime Plan; but when we finally do make that decision, we are sure to reap the benefits forever!
And just a reminder to all of you: UniKey not only carries the FFKit and our yummy whey, but also a whole line of quality supplements to enhance your healthy journey... such as a Female Multi, Adrenal Support, Bone Support, an Antioxidant Formula, Amino Acids, and Digestive Support, just to name a few...

PS - Congratulations for all your successes over the Holiday Weekend! What an awesome group of P-2'ers!!

Hi there Kathi ~

It is such a great feeling to have others acknowledge your transformation, but an even better feeling when you realize that you are in control of your choices. Congratulations on your great weekend. I know you will have many more to come just like this last one.

Thanks so much Terri... it IS such a great feeling to know we're in charge and it's not a second thought anymore, it just comes natural to make the right choices and know that you're finally on the right track.

It seems all of the "Step-Sisters have had similar results with family and friends noticing too... what a great feeling and thanks again for your encouraging words.

Ugh - canker sores!

Is this possibly a delayed sympton to detox (which I barely had any) or just bad timing? I woke up a couple of days ago with two big canker sores in my mouth. Too much fruit smoothie?? I rarely get these. I am in week 2 of P2.

Hi Sawyersmom ~

I've had those before. They can be very uncomfortable. Certain fruits have that effect on me. Have you been keeping a journal of the foods you eat? Can you go back and look and see if there is something different that you have been eating at about the time the sores started?

I've had them too... is a sea salt water swish allowable on the plan? It sure helps to clear them quickly!

Oh yeah - I forgot about salt water rinse. I would think it would be ok because I'm not swallowing it.

On a happier note I received my order of supplements today and my order of FF tortillas and bread. My body has actually been screaming for something more since I have started swimming again. Hopefully this is the answer!

A solution of one part Hydrogen Peroxide to eight parts Water can also be helpful for canker sores - swish and spit... but definitely what Terri said - did you eat anything unusual lately? (The higher glycemic fruits do me in; tomatoes, too... and they are in season!)
Hope the bread works for you - it is quite delicious!
