Hello,
I'm sorry to be asking alot of questions, but I'm new to this ... I saw the great dessert recipes for Phase One and was wondering how I would integrate say a Phase One cookie into the plan or will this just sabotage my efforts and therefore just stick with the menu in the book? Thank you for all your help and for your patience. ![]() |

Hi SBM,
Any Phase 1 food is legal for Phase 1, as long as it's eaten within the guidelines. No need to stick to the menu in the book---those are IDEAS for how to plan out your meals, but you are free to mix up your daily portions any way you like. For example, if a Phase 1 dessert contains a serving of whey powder, be sure you count that toward your daily allowances. Do this with ALL the ingredients in the recipe. If the recipe makes 6 dozen 'cookies', obviously you can't eat them all in one meal or one day. Each of the recipes should give you the information on 'serving size' for that particular recipe.
