Default Started colon cleanse today

My husband and I started the colon cleansing kit today. I have a couple of questions that I hope someone can answer for me.

1) Can you take all three products together? (the Verma-key and Flora-key in water to take the Para-key) This would only be for the morning dosage.

2) Does a product like organic green barley grass interfere with the three products?

3) Can you eat starchy carbs, like sweet potatoes, brown rice, corn chips while doing the cleanse?

4) How important is it to take the Super GI Cleanse while on the colon cleansing kit?

5) I know it says avoiding wheat and dairy are helpful, but how important is it to totally
eliminate these things?

Thanks for any help on these questions, I appreciate it.

If time is of the essence, go ahead and take the products together for morning dosage.
OK re Number 2.
Limit your starches to perhaps two servings per day.
Super GI is helpful, especially if constipation has been a long term issue but it is not critical if you are "going" daily.
Avoiding dairy and wheat are very important. They can both create inflammation impacting the effect of the products. I know you can find suitable swaps for these.
Good luck!!

ALG, thanks so much for taking time out of your very busy schedule to put things in black and white to help us all have a better understanding of the protocols that you have put together. Your input and clarification is so important and valuable to us all.

Finally started the colon cleanse today. As I was looking for answers to some of my questions I came across this thread.

The above quotes have me a bit confused, the Verma-key and the Flora-key can be taken together? I thought the Verma-Key was to be taken between meals and not until after breakfast.

Can the Flora-key be taken in the LLC?

Also for the cranwater ratio for the LLC, would the ratio for P3 be enough cranberry juice if taken morning and night?

Thanks

Cobalt, please follow the directions that come with the kit. ALG was answering a question for a specific situation asked by an individual.

You can put your FloraKey in your smoothie or take it first thing in the morning (wait 15 mins before eating) or before bed. I would keep the LLC's as they are written.

Please follow the protocol regarding the Cranwater for which phase you are in- it will be less confusing that way. Don't worry so much about messing up, none of us gets it right, right out of the gate- no one is perfect. It will soon become like an old friend: comfortable and easy.

Thank you for your help and encouragement.

I found this website a little over a year ago but just recently got brave enough to start posting on the forum. Is it okay to ask questions under other people's post when you have similar questions? (I'm still learning as I go so please forgive me if I'm doing this wrong. - I thought I never would figure out how to quote.)

As for the cranwater, I haven't been following any of the phases for some time now but I thought it would be good to start back on the LLC while on the cleanse. I hope to use this cleanse as a jump start to get back on the FFP.

Being able to ask questions is so helpful and the encouragement that is given to each other to suceed is always a blessing. And then to even have Ms. Gittleman answer some of our questions is a real privilege.

I know exactly how you feel. I felt the same way when I first started. I was a "lurker" for 10 months before joining in.

Sure....no problem.

It's difficult to offer direction and assistance if you aren't following one of the plans...or specifically one of the phases of FF. Generic questions usually lead to more questions and offer very little support for you or others. And sometimes generic questions can create confusion....which is not our goal.

Yes it is. I agree with you whole heartedly.

As Janine pointed out....the quotes that you referenced were probably advice that was given for a specific question and based on specific circumstances. You have to be careful so that you don't take information out of context. Sometimes it is necessary to read a few posts before an answer, and maybe even a few posts after the answer, (just in case clarification was offered).

We are glad you are enjoying the information and support here on the forum, and that you will continue to do so for a long time to come.
