Hi everyone...I am so glad you all have this topic cause I have 110 lbs to lose and it seems impossible at times. But I believe in this program and have been on and off of it for nearly two years now. I hate saying that but it is true. I really want this time to be it. I want to get healthy and stay that way and I know eating the way Ann tells us to is the healthy lifestyle we all need. I really need your support and I wish some of ya'll were close so we could spend time together, you know? I live in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area so let me know if anyone is close, ok? Anyway, thanks for listening and I will talk to ya'll soon.
Joy

Welcome, Joy. I had 120 lbs to lose when I first started. I've been doing this for almost 3 years. You'll find your way. Check in now and again and let us know how it's going.

Hi everyone.....very comforting to see a group just for me! I have approximately 67 pounds left to lose, down from the original 150 lbs. I needed to lose a few years ago. I do have some compounding issues, such as Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), but I have found that this type of low-glycemic diet is the best thing for this disease....the weight is slipping off much easier than ever, thankfully ![]() So, I'll be checking in with all of you from now on....... BTW, since Jan 2nd, when I started P1, I have lost a solid 16 lbs!!! I am gradually moving into P2 as wel speak, adding more sweet potato [ ] |

PHYLLIS_ Nice to hear from you and the flushing is still going strong!!!
CHERYL- Welcome! ANN- Welcome! JOY- Welcome! FAT_ENUF- I read your progress on the Progress & Success- that is fabulous! Welcome! I had so many time struggled to lose and then regained. This is such a better way of life and new outlook all the way around! Welcome to the journey! CANDACE- WHERE ARE YOU!?!?!?!?! Krysten PS- It looks as though we are getting a bit of a following here. Why don't we all take a moment to re-introduce ourselves and talk about a short term goal that we have? Mine is to get into a new size of jeans. I just reached my 34X34 comfortabley, I would like to move into 32X34 next. Also, I want to get the strength to actually weight and measure myself by the end of Febraury. Since I started at 210 in Sept. I know I have lost, but for fear of not knowing/ wanting to know if I have only lost 10 lbs or something, I have not checked yet!!!! |

Krysten - I'd like to join this. It looks like you got the courage to weigh and have had great results. 35 pounds is awesome!
I just started the Fast Track Detox today so I don't have any progress - yet. I have a lot to lose but my short term goal is 20 pounds and to get my wedding band off (something I am embarrassed to even put in writing) I'm thinking I'll have to lose more like 25 to get it off though. |

Welcome!
I am hoping to get this thread going. I know a lot of us out there can't get there fast enough yet our bodies have decided otherwise! Here I hope we can all learn patience and perseverance! Keep us posted with your progress on the FT! Krysten |

That is excellent! I have to admit, I do not know how much that I have lost yet. I am still afraid to get on the scale and get out the measuring tape! My short term goal is to get on a scale by the end of February.
OK so your short term is 20lbs. Great! You have both short and long term goals. So now, you also said you want to get your wedding band off, that will help with the short term goal! For me, having that pair of jeans that I wanted to get back into really ehlped. So try to think of something that you want to do for yourself, or fit into. We are one the move! Krysten |
