I've found the shakedown perfect for my work week, then P2 on weekends. I'm not loosing anything, but am also running a lot and it's keeping me satisfied as I prepare for my run. I know as I get closer to my date I'll need to kick it up to P3 as I start into those 12K goals.

Well, it is more like week 1 1/2 because I fell off the program Monday thru Wednesday--completely. Anyway here are my new numbers! (as of Thursday morning)
gained 1.5 pounds lost a total of 1 1/4 inches (I lost 2 3/4 inches everywhere except my waist -- gained back 1 1/2 inches there) It is Saturday now and I finally have some cranberry juice I can drink (I had purchased a concentrate that ended up being so sweet I can't drink it!) I have actually been craving my Smoothies! ![]() Last edited by Phoenix Rising; 03-13-2010 at 05:08 PM. |

Congratulations on the 4 pounds. You are doing a wonderful job! Soon....you will really enjoy the celery and salsa. It takes some time for your "taste buds" to be "re-programed". For so long we have told ourselves that foods made with sugar and flour are "treats" and that healthy foods are something that we "have" to eat. Eventually you will get your brain re-programed and see you have created new healthy habits. I also love cherry shakes. Keep up the good work! And check in again and let us know how you are doing. Happy Shake'n!
