Red face Protein vs whey powder

O wow...i didnt realize you need to use the Protein Powder rather then the Whey Protein. DO i really have to order the Protein Powder to get the results? or can i just use the Whey Protein>?
agh this is so frustrating.

It would be very difficult to get through the Shakedown with Whey Protein, it just does not have same long term hunger knock out power like the Body Protein.

You might click on the "Store" up top then go to the Smoothie Shakin (I think) it will show you the whole plan what to eat, drink, supplements, etc. Hope this helps..........Tracy

Yes, you can use the whey, since it is working for you but you might find that your blood sugar is more stable if you get a container of the FF Body Protein and use 1/2 scoop of whey and 1/2 scoop of Body Protein in your smoothies. I find that works for me.

Default Use what you have IMO

Hey Fat Flush Gal

If you don't mind feeling hungry (I have kinda gotten to where I can ignor hunger pains somewhat) you can surely use the Whey. I had to switch to the whey because the body protien did not agree with me. I think most of us understand the budget issues and we all just do the best we can with what we can afford. That said, the program works well and you will be amazed at how good you feel if you stick with it I found the shakedown easier since I hate to cook...

I say go for it!!

Does the body protein taste a lot different than the whey?

Yes the body protien tastes different and the texture is very different. It does not get fluffy like the whey and has a heavier slightly gritty mouth feel. You get used to it after a while but it is a shock when you don't know how different it is from the whey. Some people like it better after they get used to it. I wish I could use it because it does really make you feel full for a lot longer than the whey.

After using my sister-in-laws black & decker blender last week for my smoothies I realized how much difference the blender makes on how your smoothie turns out. My Osterizer makes a high volume fluffy smoothie but her blender did not make it get fluffy even on high speed for a long time it was still very dense. Kind of like using a different protien powder although it was the same whey powder that I use here at home. Curious.

I have been switching back and forth between the 2 proteins but i feel full and satisfied with the whey so , for me, there's no difference for that part of it. It took some time to get the smoothie i wanted out of the body protein but now i love it, too. It's different than the big fluffy one with whey but good anyway. When there is some soaked chia and fso it's yummy thick and satisfying for sure:-)
Remember when we, or maybe it was just me, tried slim fast shakes? UGH! I would try to ignore the ingredient list because i just so desperately needed help and wanted it to work. Now, when i slurp one of these super smoothies i revel in each ingredient and can feel the health going in cold and creamy. They are a blessing!

on plan Fran<3
