Well, I guess I learned the hard way that my body doesn't like going off plan---my Thanksgiving indiscretions (really quite minor compared to the old days---a large piece of pumpkin pie and a little bit of skin for the turkey...) upped my weight 3.5 lbs!! (previously I had lost 8.5 lbs). For the rest of the day I had my two smoothies... I know I just have to resume SS, but it is a bit shocking what one meal did!
I'm fine to complete my last two days on SS but am thinking of continuing for another two. But my next challenge is my trip to Tokyo on Tuesday. I'll be gone for 10 days and while I know there are good food choices to be had in Japan, I'm worried about salt and eating out for that length of time. Any advice? I won't be able to take the body protein with me. Thanks for your help! |

Don't worry about the 3.5 weight gain; it sounds like a bit of water weight which will dissipate shortly. Many times hidden food allergies (like wheat, sugar, milk - all possible ingredients in the pumpkin pie) can cause that.
With regard to your trip to Japan, just stick with cooked fish, seaweeds, veggies and 1/2 cup rice per day. I wonder if you could simply take Body Protein in a large Ziploc? I do all the time. Good luck and Enjoy your trip. If you can at least take the Fat Flush Kit supplements with you, that would be great and keep you slim and trim with a level blood sugar ![]() |
