Default Fat Flush, Gut Flush, Fast Track

Hi everyone,
I first heard about FFP about 5 years ago and tried it for several months. I pretty much have a healthy diet and although I haven't followed the protocol for some time now, I do keep drinking the hot lime water and cranwater in the mornings with the flax seeds.

Basically my problem is with cellulite! I am a 36 year old short, small framed, lean woman with some extra fat on my hips and thighs, and have bad blood circulation (with varicose veins to prove it!) and I have tons of cellulite that I don't seem to be able to get rid of...

Now that beyond FFP, there's the Gut Flush and the Fast Track diet, I was wondering which is most recommended to deal with cellulite. Or if none, or all, which would be the most effective diet and routine recommendations for cellulite? Besides the morning HLW, and cranwater + flaxseeds, I am starting to drybrush and eat low in sodium.

Any suggestions would be sooooo appreciated!

Thanks so much to all,

Marcela

Marcella,

Are you still eating dairy?

Hi Marcela ~

Have you tried a combination of FF P3 protocols (since you don't need to lose any weight), along with rebounding, dry brushing and pilates. This is what seems to work for most.

But Greta is correct... Dairy definitely contributes to cellulite!

Hi! Yes, I am eating dairy and I now know I shouldn't be... but a few months ago I wasn't and the cellulite was the same. I really can't say it has increased since I started having dairy. For dairy I eat lowfat, low sodium cottage cheese, plain non-fat yogurt and soy slender soy milk... I guess none of this is a good idea?

I did do a more complete search in the forum and found that cranwater and no dairy seems to be mostly recommended. I cannot rebound or do any exercise right now as I injured my calf and ankle running. I love love love to run and I overdid it knowing it was a bad idea....I just got excited with the nice weather and just had to go out to central park! Now I'm paying for it as I've been sedentary for 10 days and am going crazy!

oh, well that was off the main topic. So, no dairy, cranwater, dry brushing...? How about those "almond milk drinks" or soy milk? And any no sugar, no carb, low-sodium sodas, occasionally? (for cellulite that is...)

thanks again!

Hi Marcela - Why don't you get a copy of the Fat Flush Plan book? Then you will know the whole story! No Soy and definitely no soda on FF... Almond milk "drinks" - P3 maybe, but watch out for sweeteners (they sneak 'em in there!)
So sorry about the injury - no fun at all! How about some water exercise until you heal?

Hi Mandy, I actually do own a copy of the book, but I moved temporarily to NYC and left it at my parents' house... I bought it years ago. I'm aware that FF doesn't accept soy or sodas. I was wondering, though, how these contribute to cellulite taking into account that the soda has no sugar and is low sodium. I may have one every 3 days...

Water exercises are a great suggestion! I will try and find a pool nearby. I've never been big on swimming, but I am aware that it would be the best for my knees and varicose veins...so I think it's worth giving it a try.

thanks again,

marcela

Let's back up and review exactly what cellulite IS: the condition of cells swelling out and around surrounding connective tissue resulting in that classic 'orange peel' look. Why do you think your cells are so swollen? While some of it will certainly be hereditary (I, myself, come from a long line of cellulite-prone women. ) and predispose you to the condition at the least provocation, the GOOD NEWS is that you CAN figure out just what that provocation IS. In the early chapters of FF are reviews of "false fat" aka: water-logged cells. Various dietary choices contribute to this condition.
It will be not only what you are (or are not) eating, it will be also how stressed your liver is (cellulite is one sign that it's over-loaded). A diet on the sweet side will stress the liver and I'm talking all sugars, including the fake ones often found in soda. Caffeine is a liver stressor - and many sodas are high in that, too.

So YOU will need to change.
Change what/how/when you eat and drink
Or learn to live with cellulite.

And for everyone who says you cannot get rid of the condition, point 'em to my picturetrail. After almost 30 years of cellulite-laden thighs, FF helped me wave bye-bye and I remain cellulite-free 5+ years after starting FF.

Smile Heavy Legs/Cellulite

Marcela,

Thanks for your reply and support regarding my issue with heavy legs and cellulite. I temporarily gave up on watching my diet and feel more motivated to try again. I will add the dry brush and rebounding that I noticed were recommended. Good luck also.
