Holiday Peppermint "Notta-Latte"
It's cold out and I'm a big tea drinker (currently on P1). I invented this hot beverage last night and found it to be incredibly yummy, as well as a satisfying desert! I got the inspiration for this from ALG's Fat Flush Ice Cream recipe.

Ingredients:

1 tea bag of peppermint tea
hot water
Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
Cinnamon

Instructions:
Boil water. Pour hot water into a mug, add the tea bag and steep the tea for a minute or two. Then, pour the tea into a blender* and add one scoop of Vanilla Whey Protein Powder. Blend until mixed (I kept the cap of my blender cracked open to let out the heat while blending.) Pour back into mug. Garnish with cinnamon. Enjoy!

*Note: Blending the drink works best because the protein powder doesn't desolve well into the tea otherwise.

Default By request - Vita-Mix Rice Milk, Almond Milk, Sunflower Seed Milk

Rice Milk
1/2 cup brown rice, cooked (measure before cooking)
2 cups water
OPTIONAL: Stevia to taste, vanilla to taste

Run on high for 2-3 minutes. Store in frig. Shake before using.


Almond Milk
1 cup raw almonds
3 cups water
OPTIONAL: Stevia to taste, vanilla to taste

Run on high for 2 minutes.


Sunflower Seed Milk
3/4 cups UNSALTED sunflower seeds
2 1/2 cups water
OPTIONAL: Stevia to taste, vanilla to taste

Run on high for 2 minutes.
