Here it is - [u]just what you've been waiting for - the Kinder, Gentler Challenge that goes the entire month of September. [
] Some folks may be doing a detox for part of it - and others just the phase they are on. It doesn't matter... what matters is sticking with it, reporting in, laughing a lot, and goin' with the flow! We can do this! I'll be out of town tomorrow, so use this thread starting on Wednesday (or Thursday to report Wednesday). ![]() BASIC POINTS: 1. Aromatherapy Bath 1 pt 2. Dry Brushing 1 pt 3. Drink all your Cranwater 2 pt 4. Staying on whatever phase you are on. 3 pt 5. Exercise at whatever level you are on. 3 pt BONUS POINTS: If you get ten points, you get a 4 point bonus. Sleep 8 hours and get another 1 point bonus! So, 15 points is the top. No minus points this time - only positive vibes. Stolen idea from Charli [} ] - You may also give yourself a cranberry cluster (denoted by *) for trying a completely new FF recipe. Please give us a short review of the dish and be sure to include the Phase! OTHER STUFF TO REMEMBER: 1. You can be on any phase to join in. 2. You count the points - daily. You can report to me weekly if you want, but you must give me the points for each day. I'll report the totals on a weekly basis, but if you don't tell me I won't start chasing you down - you have to keep me informed! 3. Staying on the phase you are on means you have to do it all - drink the CW, use the FSO, take the vitamins, you know - you know. That doesn't mean just eating, so #4 above means you must be 100%![:0][B)][ ]4. HAVE FUN!! Be chatty Kathy's - let's hear from you.[8D] And - good luck to feeling great in September! |

Hi! My thoughts are with you-all today as we begin the challenge. I weighed in - Wednesday will be my weigh-in - this morning and it isn't pretty, because I've been living it up thinking I'll do the September challenge.
Count me in as a Kalispell fan - spent a summer on my cousin's ranch twenty years ago. It was a blast! Their homestead was luxurious because it had hot water, and a generator for electricy. We worked the garden, drank fresh cow's milk, washed clothes in an antique washmachine, rafted. Jackie, I love your webpage! Thanks for posting more about you . . . I need to update mine. Nervous about starting today with cravings and withdrawels and all that since I was eating off plan for a few days prior, so I'll just keep checking in here for encouraging reports and to post my progress, if that's okay! I'm up for this!! But silly me, I still have a question about the aromatherapy bath. I bought some bath salts (lavender) when I bought my brush for the dry brushing. Did I miss something in the book? Could someone please tell me what pages? This is FFP1 Day 6 for me and it's like I'm coming out of a fog. I Feel Great!!WooHoo............................[8D] |

Do you have the FF fitness plan book? They cover dry brusing in there.
I just start at the soles of my feet and make strokes going upward to the heart. I do circles over my tummy. Brush my hands, arms upward and my breast (not nipples)as well. I get my back as well as I can. LOL! And then get in the tub or shower. Is this how everyone else is doing it? |

Sara honey. What phase are you on? I thought you were on P1, but you ate green grapes this morning and they are a P3 fruit. Are you doing P3 and working backward? Am I missing something?[8)]
I'm joining in the challenge.[8D] I actually started Monday but considering I took something for my headache I don't think I can count it.[V] Today has been my first clean day so far.[ ] But! I have NOT weighed since Monday. I'm trying to be a good girl and only weigh once a week. Hey! Shouldn't we get points for not weighing every day?steph |

Well, so far so good. I started getting nervous yesterday, but today is fine and I'm done with the food part. All that is left is the exercise and bath, and hopefully I'll get to bed early. Oops, I forgot- cooking for tomorrow.
I hope everyone else is doing good.[8D] |

I've done well today. I should end up with 14 points. I don't think I'll ever get 15 - I just can't sleep more than 6.5 to 7 hours. Occasionally I can sleep 7.5 - but then I'm usually sick.
The rest of this week will be dicey. I'm going to visit my folks for the weekend & Dad's 90th birthday is on Saturday. I'm going to attempt phase 3 for the weekend, but I'm not sure how that will go. I figure it's good to "practice"![:0] Someone made microwave popcorn again at work. It SMELLS so good - but I know I'd never really want to eat it - but it gets my stomach thinking about eating other food! I need to take some peppermint oil to work - it's supposed to help suppress apetite. |
