It's true, I'm starting back on P1 July 5th and that's when this challenge officially starts. However, I know that some of you are starting/have started sooner. Therefore, if ya wanna start posting and keeping each other accountable. Now's your chance.
Challenge Points System 1) 1 point for laughing aloud at least once during the day 2) 2 points for exercising at P1 levels 3) 3 points for getting in all the cranwater 4) 4 points for staying true to P1 foods 5) -1 point for EACH off plan food **BONUS POINTS** 1 point for dry skin brushing 1 point for aromatherapy or ACV bath HIGHEST POSSIBLE DAILY POINTS TOTAL = 12 You may also give yourself a cranberry cluster (denoted by *) for trying a completely new P1 FF recipe. Please give us a short review of the dish! [ ]Obviously both #4 and #5 can't be true in the same day so if you eat off plan, you don't get any points for #4. This means on a day that you eat off plan, the MOST points you can get are 7 (assuming you ate only one off-plan food AND did both the brushing and the bath thing.) Other Important Stuff: 1) The challenge winner(s) will be those with the highest point totals for 14 consecutive days. But in reality, we will ALL be winners ![]() 2) It's been asked if the P1.5'ers can join this thread. Fine by me just read #2 & #4 as points for remaining true to the Phase you're in.3) To make this interesting, since it was kinda popular the last time I did it, I'm considering offering a batch of flax crackers to the challenge winner(s) (sorry Carol, I don't have a million bucks to spare [V]) whaddy'all think? 4) I will track and total your 14 day points totals. I can only do that IF YOU POST 'EM!! [} ] I'm not your mommy. [:I] If you don't post, I don't add. I don't go looking for 'em. I don't do windows. [:0][:I]5) Here's to a successful losing challenge. OK I'll start. I'm on day 5. My points so far are 10, 10, 10, 12, and 8.
Progress: 3 lbs down. Took two aromatherapy baths. Got 3 days of exercise in so far. Trying a new system of getting up early to exercise before work. Still adjusting, but going well. Energy level pretty ok (doing that Adrenal Formula thing at 7 and 11 am seems to have helped). Complaints: Detox headches days 2,3, and 5. Thought they were over till I woke up this am with stabbing pains behind my right eye. I hate that. Brutal to look in a microsope all day. Having mild myalgias in my back this time. Desperately miss my chocolate smoothies and peanut butter. Mock apple pie it is! Question: Do you other phase 3 ers refrain from CLA or drop down your level of exercise while detoxing? |

[8D]I'm confused already. [:I] Rebecca, the challenge doesn't start till July 5th, I think.
And Charli, yep is my vote to the crackers. That may be all the incentive I need to get a 12 for each of 14 days running.[ ]By the way, you crack me up! Thanks for organizing this. xoxo Deb[8D] |

Let me give this a try:
Day 1: July 1st With a pat of butter and an oz of goat cheese, I don't get the four points for staying true, -2. #s 1,2, & 3 - laughing out loud, exercise, and cranwater - easy for a +6 for a total of +4. Day 2: July 2nd P2 day. Again I didn't stay true to P1.5 with butter, cheese, and dessert: -3. Also I had a bread sample in the store, -1. It was a good day otherwise - including brushing and aromatherapy bath, +8, for a total of +4. Ladies, you won't have to worry about competetion from me for those flax seed crackers! Look forward to having the rest aboard! Today's a P1 day - hopefully I'll do better! Thanks for the encouragement! |

Of course you probably know all this but, don't worry Louise, the flax crackers are real easy to make. I am a total kitchen clutz, but even mine turn out just as good! I won't be in the running either because I'll be ending early for vacation. Maybe ya want to get that butter and goat cheese out of the house. And DESSERT, well what can I say. I just don't buy it or make it. Try some delicious phase 1 treats that may satisfy your sweet tooth. Raspberry "cookies" and mock apple pie are my staples. Plus you can have 2 whey smoothies a day, now.

BTW, I never had a smoothie since I started flushing two years ago - some of us don't do smoothies. Sounds like it would make a good frozen dessert, though! Day 3 July 3rd: +3 Louise ![]() |

OK, I started last Tuesday. My points for Tuesday-Saturday are:
8 (worked out with trainer so not at P1 level), 10, 10, 10, 9 I didn't know about the aromatherapy and dry brushing right away, so I couldnj't get those bonus points, but yesterday I picked up a brush and some aromatherapy oil! Happy 4th everyone. Just getting ready to go to the store for our bbq! I plan to have lots of raw veggies on hand for me, and I'm griling a portobello mushroom and some chicken instead of the hamburgers and hot dogs for everyone else! |
