I've been on the progesterone cream now since July when I went of years of bc. I did the saliva testing and found horribly low progesterone levels. So I'm on cream AM and PM everyday. I take a break for 2 days for AF. My cycles went to 25 days at first. I had one month of 28 days, but I also had really bad hives that month. Then last month and this month AF has been here at 18 days. I'm so frustrated. This is why I stayed on bc for so long. My dr has suggested a potential of bio-identical hormone replacement for progesterone, but I'm undecided. I've read "Before the Change" and have done whatever I can as suggested. Does anyone have any insight? Do I dare up the cream to 3x per day? Any ideas?
Anyone have any real life input on the bio-identicals? I can read online all I want, but I can't really tell what is real and what is just propaganda.

Hi MLB,
It can take a while to normalize coming off bc and to up your progesterone levels. You could try increasing the amount of ProgestaKey. I've never been a fan of bio-identicals.They are still a manufactured hormone which can never function exactly as nature intended.
