Linda - How cool! That college decision is such a big one. My bosses dd was home for the weekend from college, the poor girl has always been fit has put on the Freshman 40 - only more like 60, he's really worried about her, genetically she is challenged on body type.
Gold - no never been a runner. Started last year, mainly because I decided that I really want to run at marathon at 40, so I can say I accomplished something on my own. I have one of those husbands that whenever I do something, he has to 1-up me. I know he doesn't have the time or commitment to running. After 20 years together I still want to create something that just "I" did. If that makes sense without sounding bad

I'll be 40 in September, so am planning on an October marathon.
I did 50 minutes of weights this AM with my kettlebell. Then I reviewed my ChiRunning DVD and worked on body awareness and posture. I wasn't sore whatsoever or overly tired from my 6 miles yesterday, so much be doing something right.
Also.... success to report. As suggested in a previous question, I'm now using the Female Testosterone cream daily - I'm on week two - and already noticing the results I was wanting and not getting. I'm breaking the plateau as well, I've not gained my 3 bouncing pounds in the last 10 days. I can actually see my muscles as well, clear lines and length of them. It's great. Very happy with Liz's suggestion. THANK YOU!
